Monsters?

Exp Nerf

Take advantage of this minigame when it comes out tomorrow, guys.

It gives 90K exp at first, but in G9, it gets nerfed to 9K exp. Incredulous, I know.

Ending the Game

My team successfully finished 1 round and we had the Torch pop up to let us finish. However when I hit it, it didn't end the game. Is there something more specific to end the game? The torch just relit after I hit it. --Miyuna 05:07, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure you need to hit all the torches before they relight themselves. --Zephyre^TALK 16:34, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Do you have to finish G8?

I'm a bit confused because i haven't finished G8 and i still got the quest to do the mini game. So should I remove the part about completing G8 or change it to just starting G8? Dreamsphere 10:21, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

If I'm not mistaken, you can only start the minigame if you've completed G8. Everyone gets the quest though.--Zephyre^TALK 17:33, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Everyone gets the quest and can participate in the minigame, even a lvl 11 noob that joined me the other day. Maybe in other countries you had to complete G8 but obviously it's not like that in NA. I've only completed G1 and G2, and I got the quest upon logging in. --CasualT 19:47, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I finished G8 the day it was out in NA. All my characters however got the quest (including ones that were on G1 and G7. I'd assume that the requirement might actually be to not be on the G8 final, as it's entered the same way. (Eg if you took a party while still on G8 final, you probably would be given the G8 final and not the egg defending minigame.) I'd try verifying it but I don't have any more characters near G8 final.KisaiTenshi 03:03, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

You do NOT have to complete G8 to do this quest. I got it on my human when it didn't even finish G1 yet, much less G8. --Link 06:06, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Number of rounds?

I was in a party that successfully played this earlier and the game ended after 3 rounds, saying there were no more monsters. However, someone has reported playing for 4 rounds. I'm curious as to how the number of rounds the game will continue is chosen?

It's infinite unless someone can prove otherwise. On Alexina we've done more than 4 consecutive rounds, so unless it's broken or been nerfed since it was introduced, I wouldn't specifiy anything conclusive in the main article.KisaiTenshi 04:15, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Reach round 16 or later???

People don't show interest to this game, but with the huge stat revamp and gain buff to player strengths in general, we can pretty much pwn most monsters in round 1~10 with a small group of hardmode skilled players.

Could probably go on forever really, but even just 1 round starts to really drag out and it is just so slow. I got a group for it like a month ago and we all just got so bored of waiting we didn't even want to go past 4 rounds.

There's a difference between rounds and phases...just saying. The quality of the Blue scale goes up as more rounds are cleared. Any phases, partially completed or neglected, do not count and always rounds down.

Getting to round 4 is hard as is and can take hours...since there is no time limit, be prepared for a grind. On average, the group I was in took approximately 15 minutes per phases. Getting to 14 with that time (on average) is 3 anda half hours of my life sitting in front of the same screen, killing the same waves for 98 phases, which spawned about 200~ waves? You would need an extremely dedicated party to stick around that long...

Basically what delays it the most is 'waiting' for the next wave to spawn, rather than them spawning as soon as you kill all the monsters?

Waiting on the next spawn. I should probably note that this was before the renewal (Yes, there was a renewal). I believe the renewal was sometime in G9?

The only thing we have to go by is "Threat in Renes" or Nexon's name for it.

Where is "Threat in Renes" said? And in my opinion, of the three names you mentioned I know the sources of, Investigate Renes sounds the most accurate.

Okay so, 1 quest name, 1 NPC name, and 2 journal names. We need to decide which of the four is most accurate (not even acknowledging nexon's name). Personally, I'm leaning towards the quest and NPC name.

JP has it as Renes Play, KR...I don't know.

I'm fine with either Investigating/Threat in Renes.

I like "Threat in Renes" but that's because I had the unfinished quest in my log for a very long time, so that's what I knew it by.

Either that or this game is clearly impossible to do, which is doubtful considering the amount of skills we have now and such.

I don't even think the mini-game is even worth playing.

There's an exp chart but neh...the Japanese stopped doing it pretty quick...output greater than rewards seems to be the generic thing. if anyone wants to convert the table and place it on this page be my guess.

Not sure...As long as you have the Blessing from Legatus, you can go in and out. :x not much help there as far as completions. We failed round 6 because of a lag spike.

And i mean the person who edited this in GOT this exactly.

Because the prize list hasn't been updated in years... And I'm getting annoyed at the edits that people "claim" to get something which has no evidence of... I don't mean this in a negative connotation. But... It gives people misdirects.

I'm not saying it does come from here or not but by your methods it would be almost impossible to add a single sentence to any page on the wiki. I'm not saying we should add things without confirmation, but you don't have to ask about every single item. It's not like it was a Nuadha or anything remotely of value. (I mean +10 damage for -15 luck? Rip off!)

I just got really lucky. It's there but it's really hard to finish the entire thing when everyone in the party isn't exactly prepared. I think my group ended up spamming flame burst/windmill. I dunno it's just been a while.

People enjoy faking everything on this wiki and tend to dismiss facts as lies or lies as facts.
