This only refers to the actual Hunting part...as far has the NPC's race, that's entirely different...I'm not sure how you're associating Elf with his race when the line clearly talks about the origin of Treasure Hunting, Not the NPC. Just wait til we actually see some and besides, I thought the aces were humans(?).

Culinary Artist is considered a giant...? The patch notes said "Being a giant, his portions tend to be a bit... large, so if you ever happen to meet him be sure to bring your appetite!" Though it could be taken the wrong way again...?

He seems to have the physique of a giant. I've never seen a Human NPC with a face that fat.

But where have you seen a giant with a face that fat?

The chubbiest human I could find was Guildenstern. This game is very anti-obesity.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that his reason for removing the race from Culinary Artist is supposed to be backed up here. However it isn't. Does it say that? I never cared much about him since...lolmabicooking. Besides, the word giant could be used to describe him...blegh, I'm not gonna bother dealing with this crap other than I don't think he should be label as Elf because of a silly line.

If we don't know we don't know. It's not gonna kill us to leave it blank or whatever.

Like Mystickskye said, leaving it blank won't hurt. We certainly don't need another discussion to end up like the druid discussion.

Slightly related, why is Anju's race labeled Tanuki and Hagi's race as Kitsune, when all they do is just transform into them?

he's a human, end of story. as far as Cuilnary Artist, he's a Giant. End end of story.
