alrighty then, and it isn't a waste, was only 40k. Besides, i'm putting it to good use because ALOT of the clothes are marked off as pure cloth palettes when they're not, so it'll be doing it's job in testing dyes regardless.

Notice about housing

I know that the housing channel is marked error, but can you please possibly put a warning on the home page that trying to leave housing will bug players and they won't be able to log back into their account if they go into housing? thank you ^^

The new system is horrible you have to buy soul stones and you no longer get the daily items for dyes and metal dyes etc etc etc no more bombs? nothing

for 10$ were not even getting as much as the individual packages offered guild stones and storage and gifts on the week The lack of camping policy just encourages the bots and people to sit and kill all day in one spot ruining the fun of the social experiance and the meger 10% exp bonus is negligible i can earn more in 2 hours of combat exp x 2 potion than i would get in a whole day at 10% extra.

I'm sorry if this isn't written very well but maybe you could write up something more compelling for member of this forum cause i for one am going to stop playing mabinogi unless this changes and I'm very tired at the moment so I'm prolly not making sense. ty.

why not is this not a community? we have a link to the forums for the technical issues why not the wiki? We need to spread the word lots of people use the wiki not a lot use forums.

Adniel's Horn

Am I the only person that thinks that there's no glitch currently, and that the horn you first receive in G9 is the one that can only be used in the final mission, regardless of clearing G8? Then you get the infinitely usable horn after clearing G9. It really does seem like the most likely option to me, seeing as how the horn I have describes how to start G7 on it, despite having cleared G8 all but right after it came out. Our favorite highly-abusive user left a not-so-nice thing on your page, which I have dutifully rolled back. Wasn't nearly as offensive as what he did to my talk page, for which I banned all the accounts and did what I could to block the IPs from using the site. I have a very bad feeling this guy's big-time trouble. He even went so far as to post contact information (sadly for him, it won't work), but if he does manage to get in contact with me, he has another thing coming.

Hello was just wondering if perhaps the user that overwrote my pictures with color scheme containing pure white and odd position should be reprimanded? page protection request(s)/suggestion(s )

Since the lag page contains instructions for messing with the registry, if it were vandalized some newbies might seriously mess up their computers. It might be a good idea to lock that page.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, everything in [[Category:In-game Books]] is meant not to provide information about how the game works but to be a database of exactly what is written in the in game books. Some new editors aren't aware of this and correct things that shouldn't be corrected. The only thing that should really need to be edited on those pages is the box in the corner that says the details like where to get it. If that box is moved to a separate page that is then transcluded into the book's page, and then the book's page is locked, that should prevent unnecessary corrections to the book's contents and leave the other info editable. I can do the moving/transcluding myself, but that would just be a waste of time unless an admin protects the page afterward. Do you think that would be worth doing, or just to much work just for preventing occasional revert wars?--Sozen Cratos Focker 08:12, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

updated images to being transparent

ok... since i will be getting a new computer and be losing the fireworks program i have on my computer I've been looking around the wiki for images that obviously need the backgrounds changed (as in they show the grid-lines or look odd or off in any way. but because some of the files are in jpg or in gif they can't become transparent (in my opinion they are pretty bad quality files for small images anyways) so I've been updating a few to being png but that leaves a empty file that doesn't link to anywhere. I'm keeping a list of files i orphan on my page and the new file that's the updated version of it.--chrissy of hailfire 16:07, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Problem User

Hi and sorry to pass this problem on to you but I really can't do anything about it. Miyani originally posted this message on my talk page;

"The user MabinogiEU Has vandalized my personal user page and has uploaded several policy breaking pages and images. All of their contributions are just pages made on the wiki for users on the mabinogi europe servers. after i nominated them for deletion he overwrote them ad replaced my reasons with "i'm a noob", he has also done this to my own user page and then blanked it out. I am requesting this user be suspended as i don't believe they will ever be a useful user here."

However, her original post on my talk page was vandalised by a user called Sapyo and then reverted back to its original form by Miyani, vandalised again by Sapyo and then reverted by a user called W960i. Miyani's user page appears to have been vandalised by MabinogiEU and VeIocity7. Sapyo and VeIocity7 have been banned but MabinogiEU's account seems not to have been. Users Cyrus and W960i appear to have reverted the vandalism on Miyani's user page. a couple of proposals

Hi there, i'd like to make a couple suggestions. First, is it possible to put a bolded message on the "upload file" page requesting users to read the image policy page? i think this would help alot with cutting down the number of useless files that get overwritten and the number of edit/revert image wars that occur because people take it personally that their image was overwritten.

On a similar note, is it possible to have the policy tweaked a bit asking that details on outfits be clearly represented when uploading the image? for example the old photos of the Mabinogi School Uniform (F).

And lastly, i started tinkering with a visual confirmation system on my user page. If it isn't too much trouble could you give it a look later and let me know what you think? there's a couple styles available at the moment.

And is it possible to get that thumbnail to move under the text it's supposed to be under? it's veering all the way to the right and it looks bad i think.

alrighty i'll ask him about the upload thing. and well, it isn't an issue of resolution. but white and black aren't the only colors that can kill detail. i'm not sure how to word it exactly, maybe request that people not upload images that are too close in color to display detail/not intentionally upload images that hide the details of the suit? the method to obtain was added because sometimes nexon release multiple events, plus in events like the st patrick's day event there were multiple ways to obtain the same item. one question too, should the "proof of prize" be put in the policy or no? thanks for your time. Re: Hidden Text

For the template Template:HiddenTextHeader, add the parameter Show and give it any value except "none" or a blank value. For example,

For collapsible tables, don't add collapsed to the table's class parameter, i.e., a collapsed table (hidden table and/or text) will have;

class="collapsible collapsed"

but a uncollapsed table (table and/or text showing by default) only uses;

Monster Template

I don't suppose I could whip up a monster template for normal monsters (that follows the shadow mission template) and put the trial template under Q/A for discussion? If I was to want to switch out the monster templates, after having gotten enough feedback, what would be the proper procedure to go about doing it with the least amount of stepping on toes/making the server cry? What I've figured out so far is to change it at 1am PST on a Monday, and to change the data template to reflect the new template. Is there anything else I should do? Template:Shadow Monster Droplist

I know your on vacation (trying not to be jealous) but when you come back, have a look at the Shadow Monster Droplist template. I edited it to make it more like a normal table rather than including all the code from the Shadow Monster template (also gave the table heading a border). User:Naota3 is using the Template:Infobox on their user page (instead of Template:CharacterInfobox) which is listing it in Category:NPC. I left a message on their user page asking them to change it but that was on the 8th of May. This user has done one contribution since then, at 5:15 am (wiki time) on the 17th of May and it's 4.40 pm now (wiki time), but has not changed the template name as requested. Template:StyleMonster

The template is no longer protected, even though we are using the new server I think it should remain protected. Template:StyleMonster (Again)

User:Kotarou3 edited that template recently and I lost complete access to the wiki, I gave up after trying to open a page for 10 minutes and getting "cannot connect to site" page. Again, please protect that template so that casual edits are not done, especially during heavy load times on the wiki. This template was going to be changed anyway, so there was no point to their edit (except that they probably didn't know the problem it would cause). You won't need a DOS attack to shut down the wiki, only an uninformed or malicious editor doing repeated edits and saves to this template. --ZRoc (Talk) 17:21, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
