The ore deposit from Fortinbras mission is on this page. I haven't done the mission in a long time, but if I remember correctly, you gather it with barehands, not a pickaxe. Does the mining skill even effect it? Does it use the Mining skill or just another hidden skill with the same or a different skill icon?
When attempting to mine Flint, can Rain Casting be used as a substitute for rainy weather?
On a run of barri adv I noticed there were two other distinct ore piles aside form the standard ore pile described on the page. by casual observation, it seems that the ore groups come with 2 normal "Ore" piles, one "Mythril Ore" pile, and one gold colored "ORE" pile. The mythril or pile seems to only have mythril (no surprise), while the gold colored "ORE" pile has significantly greater chances of getting copper, silver, and gold ores while having a rather low chance of iron. I have saved screenshots for reference but do not know enough about the wiki to upload them by themselves
You don't need to upload the pictures, though we really only need to find out about the collection chances on the special "ORE" piles.
Perhaps we might be able to get the special "ORE" pile collection chances? The one with the capital letters.
If I'm looking at the right one, these piles of "ORE" seem to give the same item as the "Gold Ore" pile, with same % chance.
The only difference is how much resource they lose per success (higher yield per pile).
There is actually a Stats and Skills page that has efficiency listed. It's a bit hard to find. But yeah, at a glance, Mining is high on the list, second only to Carpentry.
