Already, the ripples of Saga: Iria II are being felt throughout Erinn. The course of history has been changed forever... can life ever go back to how it was? • Check quest log under the Event TAB for the "Battling Joe" quest.
• Speak to Battling Joe located in from of the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton.
• Select your main character for the duration of the event.
• Check quest log for the Mutation Outbreak quest, then speak to Kristell. She is located in front of the Dubarton Church.

• Kristell will inform you of strange bear sightings northwest of Dunbarton.
• Head into the wilderness and bring back samples for her to test.
• Return to Kristell once you've collected enough samples and she will give you a reward.

Note: This is a daily quest, and can be completed every day during the Chapter 6 Prologue.

• While scouting for bear samples, you may come accross an Old Diary Scrap.
• Bring the scrap to Kristell - She will send you to Aeira, who can be found in front of the bookstore.
• Aeira will require more scraps to decode the diary pages, she will send you on a quest to find more scraps of each page.
• Help Aeira restore them all to learn more about the diary's true nature.

Details

• Between 3-7 AM Erinn time each game day, five types of Crystal Bears will spawn in Northwestern Dunbarton:
  • Peridot Crystal Bear
  • Onyx Crystal Bear
  • Ruby Crystal Bear
  • Sapphire Crystal Bear
  • Quartz Crystal Bear
• All Crystal Bears have Advanced Heavy Stander, are invulnerable, move at Normal speed, and do not attack, but may use Teleportation periodically.
  • They may use Teleportation even when asleep.
• Each attack has a chance of adding a sample of the respective Crystal Bear into your inventory.
  • You may only collect a maximum of 10 from each Crystal Bear.
  • Each attack also has a low chance of adding an Unknown Chest or Old Diary Scrap into your inventory.
    • Old Diary Scraps are always accompanied by an Unknown Chest.
  • Attacking the Crystal Bears with summoned Golems, pets, and/or Marionettes will not yield any drops.
• To inflict the most amount of hits, the use of Dual Guns, Shuriken, Final Hit, or movement speed modifiers, are recommended.
  • Movement speed buffs such as March Song, Shylock's Step, or a transformation with increased movement speed may also help.
  • Movement speed debuffs such as Dischord and Fantastic Chorus's Sorrow Sonata may seem to work, though it is only a visual glitch in which the monster does not correspond to the server coordinates.

Mutation Outbreak

How to Get Quest	Talk to Battling Joe and select your character as your main character for the Mutation Outbreak Event.
Briefing	I have an urgent request for you. Could you please come to the church in Dunbarton when you have time? - Kristell.
Objectives	Talk to Kristell at the Dunbarton Church.
Rewards	15000 Experience Points 1000 Gold
Additional Information	This quest will auto-complete.

Crystal Bear Samples

How to Get Quest	Complete the Mutation Outbreak quest.
Briefing	Collect samples from the five different colors of Crystal Bears northwest of Dunbarton around 3 o'clock Erinn Time. Bring 10 Onyx, Ruby, Sapphire, Quartz, and Peridot samples to Kristell.
Objectives	Deliver the Crystal Bear samples to Kristell.
Rewards	15000 Experience Points 1000 Gold
Additional Information	You must collect 10 of the following samples: Ruby Sample, Peridot Sample, Quartz Sample, Onyx Sample, Sapphire Sample Upon turning in the samples, Kristell will give you a Gift from Kristell. Quest resets daily at EDT: 11:00am UTC: 3:00pm AEDT: 2:00am 8:00am PDT100. If you complete a Crystal Bear Samples quest you received on a previous day, you can still do the current day's quest too. After completion, enter a channel (by changing channels or logging again) to receive the current day's quest.
