Sylvan Dragon Raid

Sylvan Dragon's spawn locations

Basic Information

  • The Sylvan Dragon will spawn in one of two locations near Yggdrasil in Avalon.
  • Upon entering the Raid Zone:
    • When your framerate drops below 20 FPS, you will be asked about minimizing performance settings automatically.
    • Pets and partners will be desummoned and will not be allowed out during the battle.
    • You will be given the Field Quest and will be able to select one of the Sub Field Quests below.
  • WARNING: If the Sylvan Dragon is finished with the reaper's damage from the Technique Redoubled Offensive the raid will register as an automatic failure and no rewards will be given to any player.
    • One possible way to ensure this does not happen is to name and set one of the five Technique sets as a specific Avalon Raid one.
  • The Sylvan Dragon has a powerful attack that appears as a black circular wave expanding on the ground. The only way to block it from reducing the player's health to deadly is to use Defense.

  • The Sylvan Dragon spawns anytime within the times below.
    • On weekdays:

      • 4:00pm PDT100 ~ 6:00pm PDT100
      • 7:00pm PDT100 ~ 8:00pm PDT100
      • 9:00pm PDT100 ~ 10:00pm PDT100

    • On weekends:
      • 11:00am PDT100 ~ 12:00pm PDT100
      • 1:00pm PDT100 ~ 2:00pm PDT100
      • 3:00pm PDT100 ~ 4:00pm PDT100
      • 5:00pm PDT100 ~ 6:00pm PDT100

  • Note: The Sylvan Dragon will only spawn on a maximum 5 channels per time frame.

Contribution

  • Contribution is the points system used in the Avalon Raid.
  • As you complete the objectives in the Side Quest, you accumulate Contribution.
    • The maximum accumulated points in this raid is 10,000.
  • Contribution is used to determine the amount of Experience and Gold and quality of item received after a boss is killed.
    • Experience = Contribution * 100 (Capped at 1,000,000)
    • Gold = Contribution * 5 (Capped at 50,000)
  • A ranking list is displayed after the boss is defeated. Ranks are ordered by the amount of Contribution obtained.
    • If multiple participants tie in Contribution points, they will be ranked in descending order (highest to lowest) by earliest character creation date.

Briefing The Attack Unit has the dangerous job of fighting on the front lines against the Sylvan Dragon. As a member of that unit, you must deal as much damage as you can to the Sylvan Dragon. This Attack Unit's role is to focus on the Sylvan Dragon's (?).

  • Attack Yggdrasil Wisps (Contribution based on damage dealt) [0/2000]
  • Unconscious (Contribution deducted based on frequency) [0/3000]

Wing Attack Unit's Role

How to Get Quest

Enter the Sylvan Dragon Raid Zone.

Briefing The Attack Unit has the dangerous job of fighting on the front lines against the Sylvan Dragon. As a member of that unit, you must deal as much damage as you can to the Sylvan Dragon. This Attack Unit's role is to focus on the Sylvan Dragon's wings via close combat attacks. Please, stop that creature from destroying Avalon!
Objectives
  • Attack the Sylvan Dragon (Contribution based on damage dealt) [0/8000]
  • Attack Yggdrasil Wisps (Contribution based on damage dealt) [0/2000]
