Recovery Booster?

HAS A TOXICITY OF 40?!?! WTF? --Kevin Talk«) 08:32, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Someone, help me figure this out. It's impossible to have a toxicity of 40 if you go into Potion poisoning at a toxicity of 5. --Kevin Talk«) 17:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Possibly typo of 4.0 ._. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wuberfeca (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!
There's a small possibility of that only if nexon typo'd it in the itemdb.xml. Someone, drink two recovery boosters, now! --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 17:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
They kind of don't exist anymore... BladeBlade 19:44, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Ingredients in Front

Please have the ingredients in the chart as before. The purpose for the potion list in the production is so potter can see ALL the ingredients at once. Clicking the link for the each ingredients is inefficient.

There's a Potion Making List. --Kevin Talk«) 17:02, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

HP & Stamina 100 Potion

I saw one in the housing board today. We need some information on production of it, or if that is not possible, how to obtain it from monsters. This is most definitely confirmed; I saw it with my own eyes and scrutinised it closely. It may also be possible for HP & MP 100 potions to exist, too... Lhazzal 02:50, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Toxicity of mp300/sp300/hp300

It has less toxicity than hp30? Really? I feel that when I drink mp300, I go into potion poisoning fast. --Miyuna 03:32, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

My English is not that good so I don't know how to explain it better, but basically you get 30x0.3=9 for hp30, 300x0.2=60 for mp300 potion, and 100x1.0=100 for most "service only" potions.
For Recovery Booster, you get 1x40=40.--Yakiz 11:58, 13 February 2011 (PST)

Synthesis Potions

Full Recovery Potions not on the list?

Should Full Recovery Potion be on the list?

Kitkat (talk)22:13, 27 July 2019

Problem is you can't give a number to the full recovery's potionRestoreAmount, so PotionRecoveryQueryTable won't list it. I've created another query for the full recovery's under the Recovery > Other section using PotionQueryTable.

If we want Full Recovery's to be part of the normal potions list, it would require nothing short of hard coded in some way, shape or form. Which isn't ideal, so we have to do with this for now.

Erorserv (talk)04:20, 28 July 2019

You could theoretically give it an unreachable value like 99999, but that wouldn't the most be ideal either. Given that Full Recovery is unlikely to change in any significant way any time within the foreseeable future, this will probably suffice. Thanks!

Different terms being used

I see "Life" and "HP" used for the red potions along with "Mana" and "MP" for the blue potions, for example. Should they not all fall under the same terms for the sake of consistency?

Lalunae (talk)08:48, 24 October 2017

Whatever is most correct ingame. If ingame isn't consistent, then the no its better to match the game than be consistent.

Kapra (talk)13:19, 27 October 2017

I've never seen Mana or Life used in-game for the titles of potions, so I suppose the information here should reflect that unless someone proves otherwise. Thank you.

Lalunae (talk)18:42, 27 October 2017

Then by all means go for it. Whatever is consistent with the game.

Kapra (talk)21:09, 7 November 2017

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to reply again. I had already gone and done that after making that post. Thanks again, though.

Marionette Potions causing Damage

Overuse may result in permanent damage to the puppet

What does that mean? Its own version of pot-poisoning where they subtract their HP by the exact same amount?

Infodude575 (talk)00:37, 6 November 2012

Pretty much, yup :/

DANTE20XX (talk)03:28, 6 November 2012

Bumping this because I don't think this is thoroughly explained. Excessive use not only subtract HP, but also limits the effectiveness of potion recovery. You will have to go back to Huw to get it fixed, or use a kit. I'm not sure where to put that on this page.

What do you mean by limit effectiveness? I don't chug chug chug marionette potions (heck I don't chug any potion anymore) so I've never experienced marionette pot poisoning.

Infodude575 (talk)09:51, 28 April 2014

Something around the lines of "Your Marionette is damaged, only X% was effective."

Erm, I'm still lost...

Infodude575 (talk)12:29, 28 April 2014

Pot normally heals 100 HP to puppet.

But puppet is broken.

So only 40 HP was healed using the 100 HP Pot.

Am I right?

Nise Panda (talk)12:30, 28 April 2014

Yeah, something like that. I don't want to waste marionette 500s (Because screw nimbuses right?) to grab a message. If I see it pop up today, I'll snag a screen and quote it.

Do you mean that pot poison initially damages the marionette, then that part wears off but then there's some sort of aftereffect that causes the marionette pot to heal less? Or something like that?

Infodude575 (talk)14:07, 28 April 2014

Because of your puppet's damage, the potion was only 90% effective.

—Marionette Potion Usage after extended period of time.

Using a marionette for a large amount of time will result in this, in addition to potions speeding up the process to some degree, and My marionettes get nimbus'd often due to people summoning them while it is nearby (dam crutches)

The damage is permanent until you either:

  1. Go back to Huw (Can be done damaged or full HP, which is where the "intricate work" comes in)
  2. Use a Marionette Kit (Which repairs damage based on Kit Grade)

So, does it or does it not damage the marionette (e.g 100 Marionette Pot = Marionette takes 100 damage)?

Infodude575 (talk)14:14, 29 April 2014

Doesn't look like it after spamming a bunch of Marionette 50s.

Zzzz that description really gives a bad impression...

Infodude575 (talk)14:38, 29 April 2014

Are these toxicity values corrrect? I don't know if toxicity multiplies the amount of hp/mp/sp healed or is just a fixed value, but if it's just a fixed value then apparently 50/100 pots from potion making are less toxic then store-bought 10/30s!

Pyroblade08:29, 6 May 2011

it's to prevent spamming of low grade potions. (which people do anyway) Consider the higher the quality, the lower the toxicity.

Aubog00709:53, 6 May 2011

In that case the potion description is incorrect since it states higher amount of status it heals = higher toxicity.

Pyroblade12:41, 8 May 2011

I know they changed Toxicity in a previous update. Dunno what about it though.

Aubog00713:26, 8 May 2011

Anyone know if the daily effects from Friday boost the potency and toxicity of the elixirs as well?

Onionsong12:19, 29 May 2012

New columns

I'm thinking we should add a couple of columns for purchase/npc-resell prices for potions. What do you guys think?

L0stnumber05:14, 13 June 2011

I have no problem with that.
