Bear Robe

According to the release notes for G3S3, Barri Adv was the only other Adv released alongside Ciar Adv. What drops in the US version drops it that also drops it in the foriegn versions?~TGFL

Hmm just browsing around there keeps popping up parsing errors of some sort for me. Anyway, a couple of months ago, I had problems like your problem (seems to be fine for me right now, though). The way I found to get around it is to open notepad, type in the info there, and then copy & paste it into the boxes instead of trying to type into there directly. Angevon

Actually, you have to be either in IE or using IE Tab (a plugin) for Firefox, and to type the password and login you need to install a program that the site itself will link. The program is very small and was made to prevent hacking (since these koreans are just way too paranoid, although, since the KSSN info may be there, it's understandable). You will then be able to type normally. --Soma

Can I ask where you learned all the wiki commands and stuff?

Ive been wondering how or where you learned all the various commands for wiki, and how you make charts and stuff. I love contributing to the wiki, but I would like to know where I can learn these helpful tricks. ---TGFL

Mostly I just learned by modifying the coding that's already been made by someone else and then using preview to see how I ruined it, heh. I can't really make charts off the top of my head, and I can't work with templates at all. When I don't know how to do something, I try to look it up in google. That's how I found out how to make a redirect page. ---Angevon

Nice with the enchant intro

Very nice idea. Right as I was thinking about how to do it, I checked the changes and saw it. But I think you'd need to put that either in all pages or just the Enchant page (maybe with a note say that enchant page help are on the main enchant page)--Sinnoaria 01:32, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Dual Wielding Confusion

There's a bit of conflict over at the Dual Wielding page; specifically, regarding the damage done whilst dual wielding and using a single hit skill like Smash/Windmill/Counter. Manj keeps editing in that it does the damage of both weapons plus bare handed damage all affected by the skill multiplier claiming this comes from some Chinese forum. The JP Wiki says differently and there was a discussion on it at the Guru forums with no clear answer. As someone who plays in the KR server do you think you could help clear up matters or at least make it so that what's written at the Dual Wielding page isn't set out as "fact" when so many people are actually unsure? I wouldn't mind so much if it weren't for the fact that people rely heavily on the mabiworld wiki and are at times lead astray by what's written.

On the front page, shouldn't the links Wands and Shields link to the category pages? Or perhaps, the Swords, Blunts and Long Range links should direct to the Swords Table, Blunts Table and Long Range Table?

It's just a small matter of consistency. Also, there's no Combat Wand and Healing Wand page, or well, they redirect, and aren't part of the Wands Category.

I'm not entirely sure who can edit the front page, but I've seen that you're capable of deleting pages, so I assume you possibly can. ._. ~Rusty~

Weapon Template

Melee weapons always have 0~0% injury, so it seemed like a worthless column. We can make a separate template for ranged weapons, but afaik they can't be crafted anyway. ---Angevon

Requesting Permission for Reformatting

Angevon,
I'd like to request permission to completely replace the existing Gathering page with this one, currently under construction on my user page. The current Gathering page is messy and disorganized, with minimal and incomplete information at best, much of which is just plain incorrect (ore collection ratios or the amount of wool on a sheep, for example). Moreover, it lacks a common formatting and makes information difficult to access, and isn't even accessible by any means other than searching. The page I've been working on is modeled after the format used for the Actions page, and would provide a greater consistency across the wiki.
I'd like to upgrade the Gathering page to the one I'm constructing, but figured that since it's a large rehaul, it would be something I should check with you first. You're the first person I thought to ask; I apologize if this is directed to the wrong person.
Naturally, I've still got some more research to do and data to collect before the page will be complete, but if it's acceptable, I'd like to go ahead and make the change once I'm done. Please let me know either way, and thank you kindly for your help. --Armisael 03:37, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Seeking your opinion/permission

I looked in the history of the current enchants by rank pages and it seems that you and Fifty are the most consistent and persistent contributors to the enchants page. I'm seeking to make the entire section DeadEiry'd and made templates for 1) the enchants by RANK sections (ie. the Rank F page) 2) ALL the enchants sortable by Name Alphabetical, Rank, Type, and whether it's Implemented

for number 2 to be ...well... all that it could be would require it to link elsewhere for in-depth information about the enchant; otherwise having it all on one page will make it bulky and hard to search through, which defeats the page's purpose.

I've made useable examples here, and would welcome critique/suggestions and hope that I can be given the go-ahead to overhaul the Enchants by Rank pages.

Yeah, templates may be best in the end, since I've been wanting to make different types of enchant pages, like a page that lists only all enchants that affect DEX & by how much, sort of like what Jacob Paige was doing, and transclusion would make that easier.

What you've got so far is a good start, but it needs some tweaking to make it prettier. Maybe try to center the Enchantable Item text in your template. I'm not sure we really need the "Implemented?" column since it could cause some confusion. Maybe make it so that it only appears on those not implemented, just to tag them. It -is- probably a good idea to separate each enchant out of the main table so that they can be linked to, though. I'm not sure why the bullets aren't working, either. It happens sometimes when templates are involved.

I'll try to think on it more to help you out here, but I'm sort of not supposed to be on the wiki (see my User page) but I've made an exception since you seem to be productive. Thanks for talking to me about it. ---Angevon

Events?

Hi there, just seeking your thoughts on this but lately people seem to be adding a fair bit of info about the various events we have here. Not that this is bad, far from it. It's informative and in the event that certain events are repeated (as the Treasure chest event has been), helpful to people new to them. So with that being said, do you think it'd be worth making an events section? There is the old "Nexon Events page" but it's poorly maintained and people have been making individual pages for events recently such as the Cookie Tree event and Cotton Candy Sheep event. Searching for "Events" right now redirects to the "Event Monsters" page which.... isn't quite so helpful so my thought would be to make a page which lists the various events and links to the individual pages describing the events.--Mystickskye 09:50, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Haha, this might've been easier for me if I still played KR test and actually rode in a balloon, but let's see... "Hot Air Balloon" would make sense to most people, but the sport itself is called "Hot Air Ballooning" if that looks/sounds better to you. I wouldn't go with "Balloon Riding" because I don't think people would type it in a search bar, and I wouldn't go with "Balloon Dragon Slaying" either because that's not the sole purpose of ballooning in Mabi (or is it?).
