From Mabinogi World Wiki

Hello

'Ello~ Too lazy to make a new section, might as well fill up this empty one, right? Anywho, on to the point. User:ZRoc/Guides/Methods to Obtain Layout. I couldn't help but notice your use of the word "brackets" (in "Displayed Layout and Comments"). I could be wrong (I probably am wrong), but "()" are parentheses (singular is parenthesis.. I think), and "[]" are brackets (singular is bracket..lol.). No idea what "{}" are :D. I think they're squiggly/curvy brackets or something. Oh yea, Happy New Year's~--Яειм 's Talk 17:47, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

OHGOODIE C:!... *can't find too much to edit o_o*--Яειм 's Talk 20:39, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Aww, thanks. Happy new year to you too :) Also putting my reply here too since I think you made this section for it. --- Angevon (Talk) 20:40, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. :) I hope you have a great New Year (of wiki editing fun?), too. --Aramet (Talk) 01:42, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

hi there, thank you for the kind greeting, the gifts were great but emotionally scarring christmas XD hope yours was wonderful! Miyani 22:11, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Re:Taming Bait

Oh, I was going to make a transparent background and remove the "1" from File:Taming Bait.png. It's fine if we use yours, though; I'll just removing the "Courcle" part from the name, to prevent confusion. --Aramet (Talk) 16:15, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Re:Template Changes

I guess it sometimes takes time before the actual page using the template changes. The changes I made for the hedgehog are in effect now. The monster scale templates instantly changed when I edited them but the hedgehog one didn't. Maybe newer templates take more time xD --Akumo 16:17, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

RE: Bait Tins and Magic Powders

The categories "Fishing Baits" and "Enchanting Powders" sound good to me. --- Angevon (Talk) 19:13, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Aww but I like it when you come to me for advice. You're a pleasant person to talk with. ------ Angevon (Talk) 00:19, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

I dunno, other than I believe in economy of words. If I can inform or lay down the law with fewer words, the better. --Irjustman 04:55, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for tacking on an additional line here. For game-specific stuff, you probably do a better job as you are doing; I would suck doing your job.  ;) In that case, you probably needed to expand stuff a bit more; what I said was more generic. Being a sysop has nothing to do with what I said, other than I don't like dealing with editing wars (and we already who would win that war... ;) ). --Irjustman 05:06, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh yes we do! LOL --ZRoc (Talk) 05:04, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
As for a "certain expert", don't you even get me started. ;) You can probably gather what I mean from some of the other stuff I've written elsewhere on the site. --Irjustman 05:06, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Disambiguation Pages

No need to apologize for "novel size messages." =P

As for disambiguation pages, they do need cleaning up (which I should probably volunteer for, heh). To be honest, I didn't know what to do with them, hence going overboard with a few. Sorry! --Aramet (Talk) 16:49, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

The message is good (though I feel that some people may be too "lazy" to read it). It also looks a lot better without all those pages. --Aramet (Talk) 15:54, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
(Forgot to reply!) Sure, go ahead and put them on to the other pages if you haven't already. --Aramet (Talk) 22:07, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

RE:Fossils

I remember reading somewhere that Fossils can drop from any creature found in Zardine, in addition to being mined from the Sulfur Pits. I think that guide that's linked on the page mentions it? Can't remember for sure, and I'm lazy to check at the moment. x_x Qaccy 06:44, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Hm...you're right. I'm sure I remember seeing it somewhere though, and you saying you've found one as a drop helps confirm it I think. XD Guessing they're pretty rare to find, though. Qaccy 07:20, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
LOL, that happens a lot. If it's any consolation though, just randomly killing stuff in Zardine I got a fine leather from a volcano boar and a finest leather from one of those ixion things. :O If you asked me I'd say they have pretty good leather drop rates considering I only killed a handful of them. >> Qaccy 07:27, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh yeah, some monsters do drop them. I made the fossil restoration article way before I learned that on JP, and forgot to add it in. Also, if I remember right, some monsters always drop certain kinds of fossils (may make it easier to get Lava Cat if you always get the Bill for example). I'll have to double-check on JP later. --- Angevon (Talk) 14:03, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

that was an error, the template can be deleted. i'd delete it but i don't know how XD sorry for the extra page, the balloon kit is done now :3 Miyani 09:12, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! ^^ i marked it for deletion. off to add more new stuff! Miyani 09:22, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Oh, uhh.... Actually I'm using an outdated version of Opera (newest version looks ugly). Sorry for confusing you. Firefox is too laggy for me to use regularly. --- Angevon (Talk) 22:37, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Fomorians

This isn't my area of expertise so maybe it should go on the Q&A. I do think "Fomors" sounds more... (uhh I can't think of the word) than Fomorians. I never really noticed what the game uses. To be honest, I've hated the pagename for All the Fomorians since it was made. If you want permission to reorganize some of those race and monster categories, well, permission granted. --- Angevon (Talk) 23:25, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Re:Fire

For the disambiguation page links and other wiki format and styles, i usually follow the wikipedia's style (e.g. for other uses, see xx) which as been mostly agreed upon by consensus, I don't always refer to it though, so it may be slightly different.
> As for the actual Fire (disambiguation) page, I didn't make it. User:Random did, so ask him. I really don't care how you change it as long as it disambiguates. --Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 10:39, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Kelpie - Skill Section

Whoops xP. Well there wasn't much at the G8 page at the time so I made my own quest section in my user page which I removed a while ago. Also forgot that I left the link to my page so yeah...I'll go change that now lolz --Akumo 21:54, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Old and Misc. Events

Hey there, I've moved all the events to have their date in the pagename (see Category:Nexon Events). The names look pretty long but I think that's okay. Now, I'm having some trouble figuring out what to do with the Miscellaneous Events page. Most of the events there aren't in-game events and I'm not sure if we really need to archive all of them. Any thoughts? --- Angevon (Talk) 15:51, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for that thorough response. --- Angevon (Talk) 14:38, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

o.o?

Two things:

 1. How...did I end up as one of the people to bother/seek help from..? I do absolutely nothing worth noting, except take about 15 minutes to add an s onto a template. And~
 2. Your talk page is getting kinda long.

o-o;; I feel like I was going to say something else, but I forgot. 8D--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 21:31, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I wish I could make a mini-fail stamp. Like, I don't think shrinking my current one would work too well (testing: Failure.png)
Okay. I was wrong, but it still doesnt look that great. (don't mind all the stuff I just rambled, note the preceding wall of text. o-o..) You think you talk too much? *points at all the crap on ym user page* ;~;. And none of it has anything much to do with anything. just random stuff I feel like putting on my page. And about the dye thing, bleh, I didn't really do too much *basically dropped it now lol ;-;*...Ima just put this in a little spoiler thingy (thats what I call them o.o)

I will finish this later (and spam your recent changes/that one banner thingy that appears at the top of your screen when you get a new edit in your talk page..thing). Notrly. I'll just leave it at that. Moral of the story: Look both ways before crossing. o-o.--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 22:31, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I giggled quite a few times at your response. Thanks to you too for livening up a dull day. Now... a wine-tasting show? I'll go look that up. Doesn't sound too amusing, but hey, not a lot of things sound amusing, and if they sound amusing, then they normally arent. (Meaning: normally either the name of the content is amusing, not both, but possible for none to be too.. I guess.) Dunno. And art critic shows.. I'm a fail art critic, I guess. Somewhat, notreally. I'm a worse..r..... literature critic though. I got a good scolding from a friend of mine, because we write in different styles. I guess that applies to art too, art has many different styles too. Hmm. I wonder if the wiki is any good at those symbol arts. Like... those things that take up like 50 lines of..lines, and you have to stand back like 5 feet to see the image. *rambles* But back to the point I made 2 responses ago, I can't really say I'm a good tutor. Because I cook up walls of texts like seen here and some people, at first glance, probably wouldn't want to read through all this, unless they had the time. But for now, I'll go look into those wine-tasting/art critic things you mentioned. o.o--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 23:13, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Gasp. You forgot to sign your comment with the squiggles. *scoldscold* They don't sound to interesting anymore ;~;. Must be one of those things that older peoples prefer, idk. No I'm not calling you old, o-o, but I'm not really into talk-show type things, except this one where there was this guy that walks onto the stage, walking a watermelon, and then goes on about what he talks about (he gives the watermelon-on-a-leash to some random dude in the audience) and then takes it back, and walks around in a squiggle/zig-zag as he leaves the stage. It was pretty interesting, he was complaining about all the flaws in the English language. Such as the good ol' "i before e except after c". Quote from that guy: "Well, what about Einstein? He got it wrong twice!" and goes on about how "bomb", "comb", and "tomb" should, theoretically, rhyme, except they dont. Etc. etc.
Oh, I noticed the edit you made on your list of people to bother/seek help from. "..and/or have really funny/amusing/interesting user pages." Somehow that makes me crack up so hard, like, I'm trying to imagine how you would say that in real life, because I don't say "slash", unless I'm feeling bored. So... It'd be like.. "and-or have really funny-amusing-interesting user pages."....I'm amused easily, and I somehow find that hilarious. *rofls* Dont mind me *continues rofling*--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 01:26, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

What are you talking about? You're not supposed to catch them. And they're supposed to hurt. Huh. I wondered if I mentioned it somewhere in my user page, but I love riddles. So, regarding the "stalker info", whether or not they're false is up to you to figure out (by means of stalking), but I'll say that there are at least a few that are true. *giggle*--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 19:36, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

New Section :D

Cuz I can't count to 6. Anyway: *takes out a gun and points it at you* HAND OVER THE BABY LLAMA AND NO ONE GETS HURT....have you even seen a llama before? I've only seen pictures. Way back in the day, like a few years ago, I actually memorized the llama song. *feels speshle* but now I forgot most of it. It's kinda like that thing where you remember the song in chunks (verses) but don't really remember the order of the verses, so you could be all like singing Verse 1, the bridge, the chorus, Verse 2, bridge, chorus, Verse 1, bridge, chorus, Verse 3, bridge, chorus, etc.etc. Oh yea. Just for the record, I'm like a computer art nerd, music nerd, color (if that doesnt count as computer art) nerd, and a ......... everything else not-nerd. *Non-nerd? *Anti-nerd? *Innerd? *Inerd? :D...o-o;;;;--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 20:03, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

*dropkicks the baby llama over to Antarctica where it belongs* Pwnt. And I didn't understand half of what you just said, because I don't know much about guns. Barrel = the thing that holds the bullets, right? Hmm. I'll go look up pictures of baby llamas. Anyway, I wasn't so much of a computer/color/music nerd back when I memorized the llama song. The nerdness kinda overrided the memorization of the song, if that makes any senselol. My siggy is so long, like, its like.. 134 characters, and that's excluding the time. Who cares though. :D--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 20:31, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

But I see how it is, I have a lot of friends who live in Australia (don't ask) so I'm starting to begin to see how timezones work outside of the US. To be honest, I don't "believe" in lotteries. I'm just that pessimistic, lol. Like, I once told my sis my way of thinking toward lotteries, "If everyone thinks they'll lose, and then not buy a ticket, then there would be only a few people who would, therefore the chances of winning would be higher :D"... she told me that wasn't the case with most people. fly by hi!

=D  ::waves:: I'm open to bothering, though I might not always be here. I zip in and out of mabi/mabi wiki. Funny thing is that I wiki more than I play nowadays (and I don't do as much of both as I did before x.x). Anyhoo, poke me in my talk page if you have questions or whatever, I don't really check the forums and only go to the irc on a blue moon. cheers! -- Ladywinter 00:43, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

lol, I track Recent Changes and noticing you've been doing alot of work. I tend to check out everyone who does alot, for collaboration purposes or just plain old curiosity. I also saw you alot on Q&A, as well as in discussion posts, so no worries, I know what I'm getting myself into. I'm so glad you're so enthusiastic! One of the reasons that I've been editing less on mabiwiki is that my favorite thing to do is to input data and format things. But most things are already well formatted and inputted, unless there's been a patch...and so I wandered into dfo, lol. -- Ladywinter 14:55, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
*eavesdrops o3o* Dfo is a fun place to wander on to. I played that game for a short while, got bored, and came back to mabi. I got a good lecture from my friends on there, convincing me to play, but somehow I won (it wasn't apparent until like a month or two after the end of the argument) and they came back to playing mabi. One point for me. :D You sir, have not answered mah question ;~;. What time zone do you live in? o.o;--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 19:36, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Repairing

Maybe make an example page to see how it would look with hidden text boxes first. I don't mind renaming the sections as long as the redirects are made. Or did you mean making anchors like on the Glossary page? I don't think redirects would work since the "Repair Costs" section for everything already goes to the Repairing page. So in the end it's just fixing which section the link goes to once the sections are renamed.--- Angevon (Talk) 13:59, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Re:NPC Images

If you look what I said on Jay's page, then I think I made it clear, but I'll sum it up for you too. There's two pictures, of basically the same thing, there's a .png and a .jpg. Except the .png has a transparent background, while .jpg is too stupid to handle transparencies (no lie, .jpg can't do transparencies). But I'm only changing them on the npc pages, where the picture box in the NPC infobox thing already has a white background (like, its a white box, with a transparent-background picture), so I don't see the point in that being there. As in, white box + white-background picture = no difference. PLUS, like I said on my user page, I'm really picky about file sizes, and the .png pictures are about 4x as big as the .jpg ones (as far as I'm concerned, .jpg pictures are the least in size overall. I saved one picture under like 4 different file extensions, .bit, .png, .gif, and .jpg, and the .jpg was the smallest by far). I guess I'm just saying the fact that there's no point in there being .png when a .jpg would be better. Though, on the list where the npc pictures are also used (the corresponding city & the NPCs list) the .jpg pictures are used when the .png might, I say might, work better.--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 20:32, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, .png images aren't compressed - .jpg's are, and this is evident since they are "blurred"(Look at File:Andras.jpg and File:Briana.png for example). Andras's images is somewhat pixelly(compressed), but Briana's isn't(uncompressed). --Jαy 23:23, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Hehe, no problem. --Jαy 02:34, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I sense an eavesdropper. *points at Jay* jk. Anywho, no prob, I don't really know much about image..stuff either... despite all that I just said roflmao. Hmm. I dunno if you went off to eavesdrop on what I said on Jay's talk page, but yea, I agree, white backgrounds look better than transparent ones, especially when you can tell (like on the lists, where the boxes are light blue). Somehow I'm like a color fanatic, yet I don't know too much about images themselves. Well... I got bored. so I felt like conducting an experiment (note that this does not involve transparencies, if it did, the results would probably be totally off). Using a 200x200 square thing, pure black, and I tested it with 4 extensions, .jpg, .gif, .png, and .bmp. So.. The order, from largest size to smallest, went like this. bmp > jpg > png > gif. For white, oddly, it was the same thing (with the same sizes too, I thought white would be smaller than black. Don't ask why). Btw, if it helps with anything, .bmp was over 40 kilobytes (actually it was like 40.1 roflmao), and the others were quite a bit under 2 kb (more like under 1.5 kb lol..). And yes, I do agree. I don't think .gif is smart enough to handle color in most cases, but .gif is the only extension, as far as I'm aware of, that can handle animations. Well, with this one animating program, it made .gif look really crappy, but in the case of GIMP, the thing I used to animate that crane thing on my user page (yes I know I got the timing off..), the colors managed to stay quite the same. *sparkle* Anywho, I'll shut up now.--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 14:35, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

There's a reason I don't use it as my actual sig... roflmao. Unless you wanna do the linking yourself, but my rainbowsiggy on your user page is just kinda there. As in, it has no link. *hatedbytheworld* Jk. So.... Here's the code, I guess. (for the whole thing, meaning, you can just replace the rainbowthingy you already have)

Re:NPC Images (Part 2)

....friggin template Einstein... *jealous* Well, to be honest, I kinda dropped that. Like, I'm trying to keep various things consistent/categorized as much as possible (such as the editspam I made on all the metal-pages). Mainly I'm working on adding a desc. here and "" to the pages that need it. Like a large majority of the ore pages. I'll probably run through all the pages in various categories (probably the "Need____" ones) to see if they still need whatever the category states. Like, sometimes something that was missing a description gets a description put in, but the category tag is still there. In English: I'm just going to work on the small minor things. Perhaps someone (Hengsheng?) can get his full image out of the Mabinogi files? And haha, thanks. --Aramet (Talk) 03:13, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm overseas atm and do not have mabi files ready on hand. But you can do as what i do and use mabinogipackagetool or mabiunpack (found on modding sites) and extract the whole data pack file to your desktop and let a search indexer index the folder. That way when you search "wyllow" or "windmill" you can get all its related game files right away. Vista/Win7 makes this very easy. I can try but i'd have to download 1+ gb file from mabi CN. the DDS files can be opened with photoshop/Paint.net, the pmg files can be opened with pmgviewer express (but not editable unless you convert it into a editable 3d file). the xml and txt files can be opened with notepad++ (for efficient viewing).--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 06:14, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorting Templates

I don't think I ever responded about the templates you made for sorting. If you want to make them official templates instead of being under your userpage, go ahead. But, I think you're going to have to be the one to actually start using them in tables because I don't really have to attention span to figure out exactly what they do / how they work on my own ^^;; --- Angevon (Talk) 01:22, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Font color coding

In case you didn't see it, please don't shorthand it to <font color="fff">. The text doesn't show up on my browser. Keep it the full <font color="ffffff">. Thanks. --- Angevon (Talk) 05:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Maybe we can start using the full color code in future tables/pages. Changing all the existing ones, to me, is too much hassle, except in the cases where we know there's an issue. --- Angevon (Talk) 20:43, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
-nodnod- It's hard to tell, because they look exactly alike (just tested it, my theory is correct). I guess for starters, you could change all the colors in the uh.... Equipment pages that have that little table-thingy for the various angles of the equipment. The font color is 6-digit, but the cell color is 3-digit. I shall help toos~--αмуταιқ♪ 21:32, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Re:Disambiguation

Apologies for snapping, I have this habit of.. "blindly" snapping at people, I guess. Anywho. I was wondering whether or not "Iron"/all the other metallic names were suitable for the page, but I do believe that if one type of metal is going to deserve a page dedicated to the different forms of them, then why not gold? Then I stumbled across the fact that some pages were missing. Apologies, but I was using "Mythril" as a reference for all of them. If I do recall correctly, back before I made all those edits, Mythril was, in fact, the only one in existence. So it could've been deleted, or just have it's buddies joining along with it. I don't mind the redirect/move you made, but I don't find the purpose of those pages to be for general discussion. Well, no: I don't find the names of those pages to be the names used in general discussion. Those pages, in my view, are just there for factual information. I'm not trying to say that someone would search for those pages, but like I said before, I'd prefer to have them all match, than to have one outlier. (I guess you can see it as me trying to make something lonely fit in, rather than ignore it.) I can't say I'll stop you from deleting those pages if you feel it be best, as long can tell what you're trying to say. But I still might counter. :3--αмуταιқ♪ 22:16, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Random suggestion: Rename the category to "Ores and Metals"..? Seems a bit long to me though. I see what you're saying, but I can't really come up with a suggestion, except maybe a subcategory or something listed as "Raw Materials" for the ores/ore fragments. To be honest, the Blacksmith (*Blacksmithing/Blacksmithed..?) and Refining (*Refining/Refined....?) categories make NO sense to me. None at all. The sad thing is, for things like categories, it'd probably be best if there was a short yet effective? obvious name to it. Like Category:Food. JP says 1 def, 0 prot. It also comes from a Gachapon there so maybe that's why. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:31, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

ToC hidden by default

I think I've found a way to hide the ToC by default without removing the actual ToC (it'll autohide at startup of page), but it requires editing of the wiki files. When I get in contact with IJ, which will hopefully be soon, I can try to convince him to add this. (I saw what you were trying to do on your 2nd example page) --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 09:50, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Actually.. if you hide your ToC for one page, it'll hide the ToC for all pages until cookies are cleared. o-o --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 09:58, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, on your example2 page, you try to hide the ToC with another table. I just assumed you were trying to find a way to automatically collapse all pages by default. It does kinda look better with it collapse. If you collapse the ToC on one page, all pages are collapsed. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 10:09, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Designer Sets

Sandra Sniper Suit Set -> Sandra Sniper Set (M)/(F)? Also, would Dustin Silver Knight Set be considered a designer set? --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 09:52, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Refining items?

Re: Outfit Items

Uhh. I think the system we currently have works well and does not need to be changed. The equipment category is sort of a catch-all for anything equippable. If anything is missing there, just add it to it. --- Angevon (Talk) 23:40, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Monster Template

I'm still hoping that we'll get a new monster template eventually... If you want to go through and do all that work, you can, but I wouldn't do it lol. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:16, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

"<br>" versus "<br />"

I recall that discussion earlier about how 3-digit color codes don't work on some browsers, and I recall you having one where 3-digit color codes didn't work well (Opera, right?). Is there a difference between "<br>" and "<br />"? Like, does it look the same on Firefox and Opera? Just wondering, because I've been running into both rather often as I rummage along through the wiki.--Яειм 's Talk 15:42, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Mabinogi unpacker

If you'd like, I can PM you my copy via the forum, assuming you used the same username there. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:23, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

FFF

Question, what exactly were you editing when you changed the font color of something to "FFF"..? Was the text on a black background? Because I got Opera (I like experiments o-o), and tried a font color of "FFF", and it turned out black, the default color. I think it's because Opera recognized it as an "invalid" code. The weird thing is, on Firefox, in my little sandbox here, all of those "# value of F/0" appear as the default color of black. On Opera, they don't. The F's appear as (from top to bottom) white, white, yellow, red, red. *so confused now*--Яειм 's Talk 17:30, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

(in response to "(I don't normally just edit a page to change the color codes, change code to lowercase or change break tags)".) I do :D...but I'm really confused as to what to do. Should we do a survey on which browsers are used, and then just go by that? I mean, I guess it would be alright to assume that every web browser could be used (in total), but... It's so sad about how the codings' effects on each web browser vary o.x.... Blegh. *wants to just like.. pass out or something*--Яειм 's Talk 16:05, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Blehs. That was a fun hobby ;_;... *goes back to working on the monster table*--Яειм 's Talk 16:45, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Light Hetero Kite Shield

No, it's not sold by NPCs. The price there probably came from a mod. A lot of drop-only manuals had prices on the blacksmithing list before I made it into templates. --- Angevon (Talk) 19:28, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

You're right, the price isn't necessary. --- Angevon (Talk) 20:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Template:FutureContent

I'll add FutureContent into that category next morning (if I remember) so it won't cause massive fan-out right now. As for the other thing, I haven't cared about DeadEiry for a while. If you want to bother categorizing them all, you go right ahead. I don't really see the point of Category:Data anyway. It's already got way too many files in it to ever be useful to anyone. --- Angevon (Talk) 00:20, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Item Grades

This sounds like a good idea. --- Angevon (Talk) 15:19, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Cooking Table

The "Transaction Costs" is another good idea. Maybe you should make the "Resell Value" / "Lost and Found" / "Bank Deposit Fee" into links, although that would make the text blue which looks odd. Or, maybe make a page for "transaction costs" (or put it in the glossary?) and make that part in the section explanation a link:

"The transaction costs listed below are for the base item grade version."

I know some people made a page for Lost And Found long ago, and a Bank Transaction Fee (I think this one should be moved to Bank though) page.

I like the PTJ section too. --- Angevon (Talk) 15:19, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Maybe mailing fees could be added, too? I'm not sure if it's different from bank fees though. --- Angevon (Talk) 18:55, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
I like your new Transaction Costs table. I think a page explaining the transaction costs would be better than a category since it (hopefully) wouldn't be long enough to need subpages. Also I was thinking the Transaction Costs section would look good either right before or right after Repair Fees. --- Angevon (Talk) 17:09, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for informing me (and sorry for the late response). I'm not sure how to correctly handle this, and I don't know if his action counts as vandalism either, but it is against the policy, whether or not his intentions were good. Anyway, I left a message on his talk page. --Aramet (Talk) 18:06, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

'ello

 1. Didn't see a difference between the span & /span thing, and the div & /div thing.
 2. Didn't understand Hengsheng's advice at all. o-o
 3. WHY YEW MAKE YOUR PAGE COLORFULS TOO o-o.
 4. Have a good day. o.o;... No really, whats the difference between div and span. o-o. Wait. *rereads*

Err.. You can make links wif the div & /div version. o.o;... It just has to be like... <div-code>linkthingy</div-code>.. and not something like <divcode>words.</divcode>. Like I stated at the very bottom of my user page, except this divstuff is like the opposite of what I said there lololol... Methods to Obtain Guide

Would you rather have exploration as:
Iria Exploration
or use
Exploration Chest found by L-Rod exploration in Iria.
as on Couple Ring Glove?

I don't mind either way. Everything else looks right. Good job. --- Angevon (Talk) 01:35, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Go with the more descriptive one then :) --- Angevon (Talk) 16:53, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh I didn't even think about shadow monsters. Also this reminds me some equipment can come from shadow mission reward chests (these are just like dungeon reward chests) so I have added a section for that (feel free to move it around or change the desc. for it).
Also a question: If an item drops without enchants or a style, should that section remain blank, or should we put a dash there or put "None" there? --- Angevon (Talk) 16:33, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Making the table sortable -could- work, but I've noticed that the display gets messed up when there are colspans in the table's code. "May come without enchants." sounds fine. --- Angevon (Talk) 18:08, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Hey again. I added Character Card as a method because some newbie wear items come only from limited edition cards. Feel free to change the format for it, of course. I'm not sure how the date of availability should be set. This section could also be moved under Misc. if you feel it belongs there instead. --- Angevon (Talk) 17:16, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Shadow Monster Table

I guess anchoring is the best way. I'm not about to convert the table into html table coding myself, heh.

I didn't know about the 1-equal-sign header being a problem but I wanted the ToC to look nice and like the other monster pages. If it needs to be changed I won't mind though. --- Angevon (Talk) 16:33, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Okay then I went ahead and changed the headings for Shadow Lancer. --- Angevon (Talk) 17:35, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
Hehe. Anyway, I added a drops section to the No Drops template, with {Drops} as the key to put in the link to the drops section. Do you think the text should be aligned left for it? Or keep it centered? If you ever want to modify the shadow monster templates you are free to do so, by the way. --- Angevon (Talk) 18:14, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh cool an if/then coding thing. I never could get them right. The section looks good on one line, by the way. It matches the other template much more. --- Angevon (Talk) 01:45, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Weapon Stats Layout

I've only had a quick glance at it so far, but it looks good. But how are we going to determine the highest stats for Item Grades? I've noticed that as attk, crit, and dur increase, balance decreases. I think dur should be highest priority, then attack, maybe. I guess it doesn't matter too much though since the table is sortable. --- Angevon (Talk) 18:17, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Sweep Pet Command

You asked this a while ago and I guess I never saw it. Unfortunately, JP's Sweep list is very incomplete so I really can't tell.

Regarding the guide page

Too lazy to keep on flooding the "Hello" section. I am sorry. Anywho, I have a question. For the tables that can have rows added on (such as the Fishing table) depending on how many.... stuff there is (lol.. I'm so specific :D), should there be another section labeled "Additional Rows" or something, and then a little format for an additional row?.... Does that even make sense? o_o--Яειм 's Talk 21:19, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, the way I remember it, is just to copy everything between the "|-" and type in a new "|-" when I make a new row. Or in tables that are really big (like.... the ego-foodies pages), its easy to see a pattern of what repeats (such as the rows), and what's more like a one-time only thing (such as all the huge stuff going on at the beginning of one of the tables)... I'll try to figure something out o.o. Btw, how'd you like the changes I made (I don't think I did it right o_o)?--Яειм 's Talk 02:18, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
