Notes & Advice Notes Can dive underwater. Usually only uses Tail Attack. Its Water Cannon hits multiple targets and has a fairly wide splash radius. Sometimes it will spit out items through Water Cannon. The item can be found at the place of impact. The items are selected from the Lake Neagh Fishing List. Advice Because it generally only uses Tail Attack, you can use range or magic to be able to hit it outside of its attack range. A high ranked Windmill can also hit from outside its tail range. Spamming anything at maximum range works well. Simple melee-spamming with several players works like a charm, since Neid cannot be knocked back. Using Doppleganger on Neid will result in you teleporting inside the lake. You will still be able to attack Neid and obtain drops but you cannot walk out of the lake. You can exit the lake by Continent Warping, using Wings of a Goddess, or any other form of warp movement.

Notes & Advice Notes This Neid uses water cannon just as much as any other attack. Water cannon is extremely dangerous and can defeat you in one hit with heavy wounding. Neid can not be attacked with chain slash skills. Advice Anything that increases movement speed will be helpful. For example, you can use March Song or Awakening of Light. Daggers or other very fast weapons, as well as using Vivace will help. Using Snap Cast with Icebolt or using Hydra Transmutation can help significantly. Using Final Hit, especially with dual swords, will usually prevent Neid from attacking. Standing back while letting a pet attack will finish the mission with out you taking any damage. One strategy is to use Divine Link with a pet to increase its defenses and command it to attack the Neid. Have Rank 1+ Firebolt: you will want to use a chain casting Fire Wand or Celtic Tribolt Wand. Move close enough to hit it with firebolt, but be ready to run as soon as it appears to start an attack animation.

Trivia

• Neid appears to be based off of the Loch Ness Monster and is possibly a plesiosaur, a large marine reptile that lived around the Mesozoic Era.
