Description
The land of Erinn is under siege!
This spring, the monsters of Erinn are once again challenging heroes to an epic Pillow Fight! Enemies will appear outside towns along with a boss monster, and they’ll be immune to everything except a strong pillow to the face. To start the battle, grab your pillow from the Event Emcee in Dunbarton.
When you defeat foes in mortal pillow combat, there’s a chance they’ll drop feathers. Collect 10 feathers to exchange for a gift box containing an extra-fancy pillow or other fun items!

Details
- Upon logging in, you will receive the quest, Pillow Fight Event.
- Speak to Pillow Master Jeff at the bell tower in Dunbarton to receive a Play Pillow.
- Speak to Jeff to receive a new pillow for any reason. (This will remove the current Play Pillow in possession.)
- If a player has multiple Play Pillows in their inventory (obtained from opening the reward box), those will also disappear.
- Speak to Jeff to receive a new pillow for any reason. (This will remove the current Play Pillow in possession.)
- Each Erinn evening at 7:00 PM, pillow-wielding monsters will spawn.
- Monsters will despawn at 11:00 PM.
- The event monsters are considered a Field Boss, therefore regular monsters will drop the Fomor Command Scroll prior to spawn time.
- Upon spawning, a scrolling field boss message will reveal the location of the monsters.
- The monsters spawn in the following locations:
- Eastern Fields of Tir Chonaill amongst the Gray Foxes.
- Northwest of Dunbarton, out amongst the other mob spawns.
- South of the Tara southeast gate amongst the Brown Foxes.
- South of the Taillteann Moon Gate amongst the Gray Foxes, west of the western gate.
- Northeast of the Emain Macha pub, where the sheep, chickens, and cows roam.
- Pillows (Bear Paw Pillow or Play Pillow) are the only items that can do damage to the monsters.
- However any damage over time effects (i.e. Poison Attack, Mirage Missile, Dischord, etc.) can still inflict harm to them.
- A total of 36 Pillow-wielding monsters will spawn in their respective area.
- They spawn in a square formation (6 by 6 square).
- If there is an obstruction to where one spawns, the ones obstructed will spawn elsewhere, usually outside the 6 by 6 square.
- Monsters include, but are not limited to:
- Black Warriors
- Ghouls
- Incubi
- Cat Sith Knights
- Mirror Witches
- Shadow Alchemists
- Shadow Wizards
- Sirens
- Landing a Critical Hit with Smash will not yield the title nor mask.
- Succubi
- Werewolves
- Wights
- Zombies
- Each pillow-wielding monster has 1,000 HP.
- Each pillow-wielding monster grants 1,000 Experience and 75 Battle Participation Experience upon its death. However, camping penalty is applied.
- If the regular version of a monster has Passive Defenses, then the Pillow-wielding equivalent will have it as well.
- Defeating pillow-wielding monster will drop a stack of at least 1 White Pillow Feather and at least one stack of 10 Gold.
- Some stacks may contain multiple feathers, up to three.
- Gold will be dropped at your character's current location.
- Any lucky finishes will result in multiple stacks of 10 gold each.
- Other items dropped by them are: Base Herb, Bloody Herb, Garbage Herb, Sunlight Herb, Mana Herb, Sketch Paper, Paper, Wool, Golden Herb, White Herb, and Unknown Ore Fragment.
- These will be dropped at your character's current location.
- They spawn in a square formation (6 by 6 square).
- Collect 10 feathers to turn in at Gift Exchanger Kaylinn for a reward box.
