Flight Zones

Flight Zones are locations where Hot-Air Balloons, Flying Mounts, 1st Couples Flight, and 2nd Couples Flight can fly in.

Zones

• While flying, areas on the minimap change color, indicating the flight areas.
  • Light tan or the normal minimap color indicates flyable areas.
  • Dark tan are flyable areas but cannot be landed on or taken off from. These zones are usually near unflyable zones or hills or valleys that cannot be reached by normal means.
  • Dark gray are non-flight zones, usually spanning toward the outer edge of a region.
    • All in-door areas (e.g. buildings, the Crossroad, Renes, etc.), Dungeons, Shadow Missions, and Theatre Missions as well as Another World, Avon, and Belvast are unflyable areas.

Iria

• The majority of Iria is a flight zone.
• It is not possible to cross a regional field between maps (e.g. between Rano and Connous) by flying over it; the player must land and walk over the "barrier."
• Port Qilla and Nubes Mountains are non-flight zones.
