Description
Impressed with Mabinogians all across Erinn, the Puzzlemaster has returned to Taillteann to once again challenge adventurers. He'll be there the entire month of August, from so get ready to exercise your wit once more!
Week 1 - Puzzlemaster's Ghost Sketch
The Puzzlemaster's first challenge sends you in search of Zombie Groups. These Zombie Groups appear all around towns throughout Erinn. You will be required to sketch the correct zombie, then return to the Puzzlemaster. When you bring the Puzzlemaster a sketch of the correct zombie, you will be rewarded with a new Puzzlemaster's Gift Box. This Gift Box contains items that differ from the July Puzzlemaster challenges.
Week 2 - Disarm the Bomb!
By defeating monsters and fomors that are Strong, Awful, or Boss, you have a chance to receive a Trick Bomb Box. Bring the Trick Bomb Box back to the Puzzlemaster and he will ask you to open it. Of course, you'll need to open it before it explodes in your face! You'll have 60 seconds to guess the correct combination. To disarm the bomb, enter a series of numbers, up to 3. "O" means that the right number is in the right spot. Triangle means that there is a correct number, but in the wrong spot. "X" means that this number isn't used anywhere in the combination. If you disarm the Bomb Box, you will receive a Puzzlemaster Gift Box.
Week 3 - Zombie Cards
Once again, defeat monsters around Erinn for a chance for them to drop Zombie Cards. You will need to create your best Zombie Hand by combining the best cards you have into 2-of-a-kind, 3-of-a-kind, a "suited" straight, etc. The zombie suits are Bandersnatch, Zombie Soldier, Snow Zombie, and Stone Zombie. Once you Bet your hand, you will receive marks based on how good your hand is. Get ten marks and turn them in for a Puzzlemaster Gift Box.
Week 4 - "Zombies of the Shadow Realm"
During the final week of the Puzzlemaster's Rematch, Padan will offer three special Shadow Missions where all the regular Fomors are replaced by Zombies. Upon completing the Shadow Mission, adventurers will receive the normal treasure at the end of the Shadow Mission as well as a Puzzlemaster Gift Box.

Week One's Event
Week One's Event
- One group of Zombies will spawn in a field of a town in Uladh at approximately 11:20pm in-game time.
- These zombies will de-spawn at 2:00am in-game time.
- The group will contain 16 Zombies.
- An announcement will broadcast to all players in the same area of the event spawn, similar to how a Field Boss spawns.
- As these Zombies are classified as field bosses there are Fomor Command Scrolls which drop from monsters to announce when and where their going to spawn.
- Your best bet for sketching the Zombies is in Emain Macha. They seem to spawn just about every night.
- You will still have to track them down in the area they spawn in.
- If no announcement is displayed then the group of Zombies have not spawned for that map.
- It may be possible that there are maps without the Zombie spawns.
- It is unknown whether there is a pattern to where the zombies will appear next.
- The puzzle requires a Sketch of these Zombies.
- It is possible to sketch the same zombie more than once.
- It is possible to get a maximum of three sketches from a group depending on how long it takes for you to get to where the Zombies spawn and find the correct zombie to sketch.
- The correct monster matches the title as well as the look of the zombie.
- The Puzzlemaster will not provide any Sketch Paper; you must get them yourself.
- You must sketch the Zombie whose name matches the type of Zombie it is. They are all non-aggressive and cannot be attacked by any means.
- Turn in 10 Puzzlemaster's New Mark for one Puzzlemaster's Gift Box.

Week Two's Event
Week Two's Event
- Defeat monsters to have a chance to obtain the Trick Bomb Box.
- Weaker monsters have a less chance of dropping a box than monsters that are stronger than you.
- Bring the Trick Bomb Box back to the Puzzlemaster in Taillteann, and he will ask you to open it.
- When you open the box, you will be given a card with 3 empty spaces.
- At the top of the card is a timer bar which indicates the amount of time you have left before the bomb will explode.
- You will only have 60 seconds to solve the puzzle.
- Type your number guess in the spaces, and if they are all correct, you will disarm the bomb and receive the Puzzlemaster's Gift Box.
- The card uses the numbers 1-9 with no repeats.
- To indicate what's right and what's wrong:
- O: Correct number(s) and correct location(s).
- Δ: Correct number(s) and wrong location(s).
- X: Wrong number(s).
- You have a total of 8 tries to get the number combination right.
- If the time runs out, or you exit before the timer runs out, the bomb 'explodes.' Your character will be thrown backwards by the explosion, but remain unharmed, and the Trick Bomb Box will be removed from your inventory.
Week Three's Event
Week Three's Event

- The stronger the monster is relative to your cp, the higher the chance of a card dropping.

- 13 is the Joker of the set
- Depending on what set of cards you give the Puzzlemaster, he will allot you a certain amount of Puzzlemaster's New Marks.
- The sets seem to be in resemblance of poker.(Four-of-a-Kind, Royal Flush, Pairs, ect.)
- 4 Jokers gives 10 Puzzlemaster's New Marks
- 3 of a kind plus 1 Joker gives 7 Puzzlemaster's New Marks
- 4 of a kind and of the same suit gives 6 Puzzlemaster's New Marks
