Orders
Daily
Five of the following objectives are given at random. All progress is reset at 7:00am PST100. 200 Crusader EXP is given per objective completion, 500 is given for achieving the Mid-Bonus, and an additional 1,000 is given for completing all Girgashiy and Hasidim Daily Order objectives.
- Not So Bad: Eliminate the Girgashiy once
- Onslaught: Eliminate the Girgashy within 20 minutes.
- Tougher Together: Eliminate the Girgashiy with 10 or more members
- Gain Allies: Join a Squad with the Squad Matching System.
- The Captain of an active squad need not be in the Knight's Secret Meeting Area, but the player with the quest must use the matchmaking system at the Knight's Emblem in Emain to fulfill the requirement.
- Squads that have been created with level restrictions may not be searchable, and are therefore unable to complete this requirement.
- The Captain of an active squad need not be in the Knight's Secret Meeting Area, but the player with the quest must use the matchmaking system at the Knight's Emblem in Emain to fulfill the requirement.
- Cut The Rope: Rescue a friend who is confined by the Girgashiy
- Breaking the crystal does not always count towards the requirement, however. You might need to break several of them for the game to count it.
- You can break your own crystal and complete the requirement by taking advantage of Skills that create a damaging zone, such as with Stardust's Chaser Skill.
- Ward it All: Use a Warding skill to defend against the Girgashiy's attack
- This is actually completed by using the Defense skill, not Shield of Trust.
- See Me Living: Eliminate the Girgashiy without dying
- Soul Saver: Hit the soul being absorbed into the Girgashiy
- Most attacks deal only 1 damage to souls, and thus do not count against Unfathomable Victory.
- Keep Away: Escape the Girgashiy's containment
- This can be completed in solo, where Girgashiy will always use the skill on you and the NPCs will almost always free you.
- Too Fast to Die: Eliminate the Girgashiy without being hit by its staff.
- If the staff swing does only one damage, it does not count as hitting you and you will still complete this objective.
- Trophy of War: Gain 'Apostle's Shining Shard' from Girgashiy.
- Drops are not obtained in Easy difficulty.
- Drops can be obtained in Solo, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard difficulty.
- Squad Power: Successfully use Shield of Trust to defend yourself from the Girgashiy's Mineral Hail
- If another player's shield affects you before yours activates, it will count as them defending you and not complete this requirement.
- Squad Power: Successfully use Celestial Spike to stop the Girgashiy's attack.
- Battlefield Awareness: Get KO'd by the Girgashiy's Mineral Meteor attack.
- On Hard and Very Hard difficulties, Mineral Hail is a one-hit kill if not defended against.
- Battlefield Awareness: Be confined by the Girgashiy
- This is the crystals.
- Battlefield Awareness: Witness the Girgashiy's staff attack.
- You must take more than one damage from the attack for it to count.
- If the staff swing only does one damage to you, utilize Mana Shield.
- Battlefield Awareness: Witness the Girgashiy's Contagion attack
- In Good Health: Use a bandage to treat a wound.
- Requires that you are currently in a Squad while combating an Apostle. As such, this cannot be done in Solo mode, a single player can create a squad of just themselves for this order.
- Revival of the Fittest: Revive a squad member.
- Adniel's Horn Bugle may be used on a volunteer after Girgashiy has been defeated.
- Proper Hydration: Eliminate Girgashiy without using potions
- Squad Commendation: [Mid-Bonus] Complete 5 of the missions
- Hasidim-specific Daily Orders can count towards this total.
Weekly
All ten objectives are given. All progress is reset at 7:00am PST100 on Saturdays. 500 Crusader EXP is given per objective completion, 2,000 is given for achieving the Mid-Bonus, and an additional 3,000 is given for completing all Girgashiy and Hasidim Weekly Order objectives.
- All Out: Eliminate Girgashiy with a 16 person squad
- All 16 players must still be in the raid when Girgashiy is defeated.
- Sprint For Victory: Defeat the Girgashiy 5 times
- Lightning Speed: Defeat the Girgashiy within 10 minutes
- Unfathomable Victory: Eliminate the Girgashiy without dealing any damage
- This can be accomplished by pet mounting and using its attacks if applicable, a Partner equipped with a Rag Doll, Summon Golem, Colossus Marionette/Pierrot Marionette, or solely using Shield of Trust and/or Celestial Spike and/or Party Healing.
- Trophy of War: 'Gain 'Apostle Ring' from Girgashiy
- None Shall Fall: Defeat the Girgashiy without having anyone die
- Finishing Blow: Defeat the Girgashiy with your attack being the last
- As a raid boss, the finish attack is based on attack count, not damage. Thus, using guns repeatedly during the fight is an easy way to get the finish.
- Squad Power: Successfully use [Judgment Blade] to stop the Girgashiy's attack 5 times
- This is performed by having a second squad member use Shield of Trust during Mineral Hail to stun Girgashiy, then have a third squad member use Celestial Spike on Girgashiy's stunned state, then finally using Judgment Blade when Girgashiy falls to its knees.
- Death's Door: Your HP drops to 0 with a single hit from the Girgashiy
- This requires you to have full health.
- This is best done in Hard or Very Hard difficulty while avoiding Girgashiy's attacks until it uses Mineral Hail, which deals 105% health damage in the aforementioned difficulties.
- Mission Possible: Clear all three daily Orders 3 times
- Squad Commendation: [Mid-Bonus] Complete 10 of the missions
- Hasidim-specific Weekly Orders can count towards this total.
Tips
- For a full guide, see Guide:Girgashiy Raid.
- Girgashiy is a skill immune monster, and is also immune to Sharp Mind, Sand Burst, Rain Casting's rank 1 aggro effect, Lullaby, and Elemental Reforges.
- Girgashiy possesses the following skills: Advanced Heavy Stander, Staff Swing, Holy Contagion, Holy Confinement, Fanaticism, Soul Absorption, and Mineral Hail.
- Girgashiy uses its skills when its Health reaches a certain point, based on the difficulty of the raid.
- All its attacks except Staff Swing and Fanaticism deal a fixed percentage of the player's Health and also ignores Mana Shield and Deadly status, meaning that increasing one's Health and Defensive Stats will have little effect.
- In addition to high health and defense, Girgashiy has a passive ability that reduces all damage by 98% on top of its defensive stats, which can only be pierced with Judgment Blade in its downed state.
- Use Crusader Skills to combat Girgashiy; Shield of Trust will lower the damage of its Mineral Hail and stun Girgashiy, Celestial Spike will extend Girgashiy's stun time after Shield of Trust is used against Mineral Hail, and Judgment Blade will lower its Defense.
- However, keep in mind that crusader skills share the same cooldown with each other, so communicate with the squad on who uses what crusader skill.
- Support Shot and Rage Impact affects Judgment Blade's damage.
- It is strongly recommended to have high-ranked Party Healers, especially with "the Master of Party Healing" and/or SAO Pina 2nd Titles.
- Having several members use Windmill is very effective due to its aggro reset; if done right, this will confuse Girgashiy's AI and it will not be able to attack. Its radius is also wide enough to stall any souls summoned from Soul Absorption.
- Windmill spamming non-stop alone will prevent Girgashiy from using Mineral Hail, however it is advised that have at least two to three members keep using Windmill.
- Try to huddle up with the squad as much as possible. Fanaticism and Mineral Hail will cause Girgashiy to teleport directly to the player furthest from it.
- In Hard difficulty, lure Girgashiy into one of the empty houses. This will keep the squad huddled and not knocked back far away.
- Make use of Sorrow Sonata (red Fantastic Chorus circle) as this slows Girgashiy down and reduces his staff damage.
- Avoid resurrecting a fallen party member when affected by Holy Contagion; the poison status will immediately spread to the revived player and instantly render them Knocked Unconscious again.
- With the exception of his Staff Swing, its attacks do not target Pets, Monster Mercenaries, and Rag Dolls. This can be used to your advantage, especially when dealing with Fanaticism and Holy Confinement.
- Depending on the mode of the raid you're in, you may wish to have a Rank 4 or higher Shield of Trust to lower damage immensely if you are not doing easy. Also noting Girgashiy's defensive stat being quite high, you may wish to use a Bone Dragon, Rank 1 Spinning Uppercut and Rank 1 Smokescreen to help chip its defense temporarily if you are unable to use Judgement Blade on Girgashiy.
- It is recommended to use the WASD keys while attempting to move away or towards Girgashiy to prevent misclicking.
