Healing is a magical spell that enables one to gather HP for those in need. Party Healing works the same way, except that it not only helps just one other person but all the members of the party to which the person belongs. In theory, Party Healing is very similar to Healing, as both skills can be upgraded to the point of mastery where the spell may provide increased defense from outside attacks, or increased magic attack power as more party members are healed. The one caveat is that the spell only recovers HP and does not help for healing injuries.

Details

  • Requires a Healing-type Wand, a Wireless Concert Microphone, Celtic Guardian Staff, or a Standing Concert Microphone equipped in order to use.
  • Party Healing is a special form of Healing that allows one to heal their entire Party and their Pets simultaneously.
  • You can move while you have Party Healing charged.
  • Party Healing can only have one charge at once, unlike regular Healing.
  • Healing with Classic Spirit Wands will increase the effectiveness of Party Healing.
  • Party Healing does not drain the caster's Stamina, unlike regular Healing.
  • Party Healing has a chance to critically heal, similar to regular Healing.
  • Having Party Healing charged raises the Defense and Magic Defense of every Party Member.
    • This buff refreshes itself every 10 seconds while Party Healing is charged.
    • This buff persists for 10 seconds from initial charge and every refresh.
    • Party Members must be within range when the buff refreshes to benefit from the buff for the next 10 second duration.
    • This buff expires for all Party Members when Party Healing is used, regardless if the Party Member was within the range to benefit from the Heal.
  • Party Healing does not normally recover Wounds.
    • However, equipping a Title such as the Master of Party Healing can allow you to remedy Wounds (in this example, 10% of the amount healed) while using both Healing and Party Healing.
  • You can charge and use Party Healing on yourself when not in a Party.
    • Note: Your own Pets will benefit from Party Healing's heal outside a Party, but will not benefit from the Defense and Magic Defense buff outside a Party.
  • It is not possible to heal a Pierrot Marionette or Colossus Marionette with Party Healing.
  • Rank 9 Party Healing is required to use the Zone of Renewal Technique.
  • Party Healing cast by a Link 6 Harmonic Saint will apply the Effect - Wings Heart Plus PB.png Warmth of Life Status Effect to the caster.
    • Each cast will apply 1 stack of this effect, up to 5 stacks total.
    • This Status Effect will empower the user's Hand of Restoration and Echoes of Salvation Skills for 1 minute, with each stack of the effect increasing their healing effect by 7% and adding 200 Wound recovery.
      • Using Party Healing again will refresh the duration.

Obtaining the Skill

  • Equip a Healing Wand.
  • Cast Healing and use it on any target.
    • It does not matter if your target needs healing or not.

Training Method

  • The skill must recover a certain (unknown as of now) amount of HP to receive skill training for 'Critical condition' lines. (More testing is needed.)

Training Tips

  • Starting at Rank 9, and Rank 6 through 2, you must have at least 3 people to heal in order to advance the skill.
    • They must benefit from Party Healing (i.e. heal with HP lost)
  • For Ranks before 9, the skill can also be trained (and possibly even ranked up) just from using the Healing skill, which gives points for the "receive treatment" requirements. You must be the one being healed though; healing others will not count.

Best Method

  • One can attack barrier spikes in Shadow Mission Tense Escape in Iria: Episode 7 - Heroic Path: The Choice. These barrier spikes will return damage back.
    • Rag Dolls will also take damage, allowing up to 4 rag dolls that can be easily healed by using self-targeted Party Healing. The rag dolls will quickly enter a "state of distress" by damaging themselves on the spikes.
      • This method requires you to be in a party by yourself before entering Tense Escape.
      • You must manually click on them or yourself, targeting will not work here.
      • You can also heal your pet if your pet attacks the spikes, adding one more target.

Other Methods

  • Like regular Healing, you may go to a Mana Tunnel to perform Party Healing on yourself/others. If possible, you may bring a Dark Knight in the disarm phase and heal them constantly.
  • Another possible method is having your party use Respite and then use magic or alchemy to cause self injury.
  • Have a friend with Mirage Missile attack a giant-allied human or giant through Elf vs. Giant near your party. The effect will then drain the HP of the people in the party.
  • Have three same sided (Elf vs. Giant) people be damaged by an opposing person's Hydra Transmutation. The damage will usually accrue faster than you are able to heal, making this method very effective.
