Description

“	An incubus is an incomplete being from birth. They are able to freely cross the realm of dreams, yet unable to exist outside of those dreams.	„

• An incubus spawns when there is only one player in the Castle Dungeon prior to opening the boss door.
• If a player is normal mode when confronting an incubus, he will notice the player, talk, and walk around them.
  • If a player is in combat mode, he will aggressively aggro instead.
• The color of an incubus depends on the Castle Dungeon. The color only affects their appearance.

Notes & Advice Notes If you knock him back with a Critical Counterattack, his wings will grow, his eyes will appear angry, his tail will change, and he will receive a power boost. Kill him in angry state to receive a Thick Horn with the Incubus enchant. They will drop by your feet, not on the corpse. Killing him with a Marionette will not drop the items. He will only drop the horns for a female player, however only male characters can wear the horns. Frequently casts magic. His CP increases when he gets aggressive. (?) Advice The Incubus will most likely use Ice Spear when you try to use combat. To get him to attack you, try doing Firebolt-Icebolt spam so that he can attack you and you can use Counterattack.

Notes & Advice Notes Using knockback attacks such as Firebolt, Ice Spear, or Windmill will cause Lebbaeus to run towards you and attack/charge Ice Spear/Lightning Bolt. Advice Refrain from using Ice Spear too much as it will not cause him to freeze because he has Mana Deflector. A good tactic that requires a lot of mana potions is to start stacking Ice Spear while in normal mode, and shoot it at Lebbaeus, and constantly charge and fire Firebolts at Lebbaeus until he dies. An alternative way is to use Fire-Lightning/Ice-Counter. (Requires very little/no lag)

Notes & Advice Notes His Chain Impale will give you the Weaken status when hit. At 70% HP, starts to use Anchor Rush and Incubus Nightmare Advice Using the Dream Light given during the fight will remove Nightmare status. The player needs to stand in the area it creates to cancel out the effect and protect themselves. Periodically summons regular Incubus of all types. They will aggro you on sight and attempt to use ice spear often. Means of mob control is advised.

Trivia

• The poem that the Incubi recite is Rainer Maria Rilke's Lösch mir die Augen aus (meaning Extinguish my eyes) from The Book of Hours.
• Due to the Incubi's being being tied to dreams, per the Incubus King's words, the player requiring to be alone to meet one may mean that they are entering a dream at the boss room.
  • This may also explain why Elatha was rejected by Lebbaeus; being able to exist outside of dreams, he may not have been seen as a 'true' incubus.
