Trivia
- Blinker is also known as Beeper in oversea servers.
- Erinn Walker - Return of the Hero stated that the monster was renamed because it was an "eyeball" not a "pager."
- The Blinker may have been inspired by the Beholder, a large eyeball creature from Dungeons and Dragons with deadly eye beams.
- The Blinker may also be a reference to Balor, a Fomor King who was infamous for an eye in the middle of his forehead and the back of his head that instantly vaporized anyone it saw.
