Sprite

Basic Information

  • Elemental Sprites use the same language as Wisps.
    • While Defending, Sprites will say !!.
    • While Sprites cast their respective magic spells, they will say !!!.
  • Sprites have a unique AI and tend to spam magic and retreat after blocking melee attacks.
  • All Sprites have Heavy Stander.
  • All Sprites have Mana Deflector at level 1, except the Giant Fire Sprite and the Castle Sprites, which have level 2.
  • All Sprites have Natural Shield at level 2, except Giant Elemental Sprites which have level 1.
  • All Castle Sprites possess only Firebolt.
  • All Castle Sprites possess a weak Self-Destruct (except for the Bear Sprite, which is far more lethal).

Elemental Specifics

  • If the player is equipped with a Wand of the same element as an Elemental Sprite, that person may harvest Elementals from it by right-clicking the sprite and selecting the harvest option.
    • Do not equip a Shield or you cannot harvest.
    • Sprites will usually aggro immediately after or during harvest.
      • If the Sprite moves, harvesting will fail.
      • If you have an Elf party member, have them aggro the sprite then use Hide, which will cause them to lose aggro. However, they should not get hit before using Hide or they cannot use the action.
      • Alternatively, the helper can simply Play Dead while being targeted.
      • In Ceo Island, set up a Camp Kit or Campfire, have someone aggro a Sprite, then hide behind the obstruction. The Sprite is now locked onto the aggro'd player, trying to go through the obstruction but cannot, and can be harvested easily.
        • Using a Kit is highly recommended since Campfire is limited and if it runs out, it will attack the player it is after.
      • In Coill Dungeon, have one member aggro the Sprite from outside the room, and another player can then enter the room and harvest easily.
        • However, there is a possibility that the Sprite will aggro the harvester.
      • Sprites can be relatively easily tamed with a Rank 8 Taming Wild Animals, resulting in a passive and harvestable Sprite.
      • Using Lullaby to stop the Sprite in place is also a way to stop the Sprite from gaining aggro.
  • A Sprite has a limit to the amount of Elementals that you can harvest (around 15 ~ 21 Elementals), similar to non-aggro production animals such as the Sheep's Wool or Cow's Milk.
    • Sprites will regenerate Elementals every few minutes. However, it is a better option to kill the completely-harvested Sprite and search for another, as Sprites on Ceo Island only spawn one type at a time.
  • Harvesting Elementals from a Sprite will not have any effect on the Sprite itself.
