Description
Details
- This skill allows you to return thrown Javelins, cast -Bolt Magic, and Arrows at another target.
- Attempting to reverse Fusion Bolt, Magic Fusion, Ice Spear, Fireball, Thunder, or Hail Storm will result in a failure.
- Alchemy is not reversed in PvE, but most attacks can be revered in PvP.
- All archery attacks are ricocheted, but only the first arrow for each attack that uses multiple arrows.
- This gives elven characters an advantage in PvP. However, this also gives Elven Doppelganger Clones an advantage in combat.
- This has no effect on melee combat.
- Every moment this skill is on, you will lose Mana.
- You cannot move when using this skill.
- Only attacks in the direction of your mirror will be reversed.
- There does not have to be a monster in the direction the mirror is facing.
- A transparent mirror will not do anything.
- A mirror is turned solid through the minigame.
- As of the Episode Two patch, most monsters now have an AI that can tell when you are using this skill, which will then attack you from another angle.
- This can be used to your advantage if a party member can manage to attack the enemy before it repositions.
- The damage of the reversed attack will be one-fourth of the initial attack.
- You will take more damage when hit with this skill on.
- The amount of extra damage will depend on the rank of the skill.
- This skill cannot be used in an arena.
- This skill can be used in all other forms of PvP.
- This skill is currently capped at rank A.
- This skill will not reflect attacks done by "Strong", "Awful", and "Boss" enemies, however, it will nullify them.
- At rank A, this skill is effective towards "Strong" enemies.
- The increased damage still applies
- If Meditation is on, this skill is unusable.
- If you run out of Mana with this skill on, it will cancel.
- At rank A, your mirror gets bigger and so does your gradient triangle.
- Although this is a magic skill, the Warrior Destiny gets double skill training for this skill and not the Mage Destiny.
- This skill can be used along-side Mana Shield.
- This skill has a one-minute cool down in-between uses.
- You can use Mana Potions when this skill is on, but only Mana Potions.
- HP & MP 10 Potions, HP & MP 30 Potions, and HP & MP 50 Potions are the only exceptions to this rule.
- The damage formula for the reflected attack is:
- (Calculated Skill Damage/4*Percentage) + (STR/2 + DEX/2)
- The Calculated Skill Damage is dependent on the monster. So if the enemy would've done 200 damage on you, ignoring protection, defense, etc; that would be the Calculated Skill Damage.
- The percentage is dependent on how transparent or solid the mirror is, this can be seen in the minigame window.
- If your STR or DEX is more than 100, it will be treated as 100. So if you have 152 STR and 32 DEX, that part of the formula would be 66.
- If there is multiple targets in the direction of the mirror (gradient triangle), then the formula's damage would be divided by the number of targets and that amount will be dealt to each target.
- If the Percentage is zero, then the damage will be zero regardless of your DEX or STR. However, the targets will still notice your attacks and can become hostile.
- (Calculated Skill Damage/4*Percentage) + (STR/2 + DEX/2)
- This skill ignores a target's defense and protection, but not Passive Defenses.
- Even if you reflect a Javelin or Arrow, it will always be considered Magic to passive defenses because the skill itself is magic.
Minigame
When you use this skill, a window will pop up showing a hemisphere with a gradient triangle. Also, a transparent mirror will show in your character's hands. Under the gradient scale there is a left, right, and stop button. The stop button serves as an alternative method of turning off the skill. The gradient triangle is symbolic of the range of the skill. The gradient triangle will stem from an "X" in the bottom indicating your character. Clicking in a direction will tilt the gradient triangle and tilt your mirror. If the mirror is transparent, it will not do anything. To solidify it, you must repeatedly press the left and right button with your mouse. The mirror will turn back at a fast rate if you do not continue. A gauge right under the buttons determines how effective the skill is. If it is all the way on the left, the mirror is transparent and will reflect the damage at a zero-percent rate. If it is all the way on the right, it will be completely solid and will reflect the damage at a hundred-percent rate. If the attack comes from a direction outside of the hemisphere, then it cannot be reflected. If you get attacked by a corresponding skill from inside of the hemisphere, the damage will ricochet to all the enemies in the gradient triangle if your mirror is partially or completely solid.
