Details
- Requires Knuckles to use.
- Stage 3 Chain that kicks the enemy to knock them down and pins them to follow up with a flurry of punches, ending off the attack with a charged impact, then backflips at the end.
- The target and player are pushed 600 Distance forward by the attack.
- When the attack ends, the player returns to their original position.
- While pinned, the target is unable to do anything until the skill ends or is interrupted.
- The target will have Advanced Heavy Stander similar to targets effected by Frozen Blast.
- The target is open to all attacks during Pummel, however targets with Instinctive Reaction may still interrupt Normal Attacks or Smashes from other players.
- Pummeling will end early if the target dies, is frozen by Ice Spear, or if the player is interrupted at any stage of the animation.

- Always successfully intercepts an enemy's Normal Attack or Smash, provided the user has little or no latency.
- Ignores Defense, Counterattack, Lance Counter, and Combo: Counter Punch.
- Cannot be used if the enemy possesses Advanced Heavy Stander. A message will say: "Target is resistant to take-downs." if attempted.
- If Pummel kills enemy with Self-Destruct, the target explodes right after the backflip animation.
- Does not work against Barrier Spikes.
- It is, however, possible to Pummel an enemy through Barrier Spikes.
- The initial hit of Pummel can be used to train Combat Mastery.
- The player may still be attacked by other enemies during Pummel.
- As such, using it during multi-aggro situations may leave the player vulnerable.
- If Pummel is interrupted before it is completed, the skill will not enter cooldown.
Skill Issues
- If this skill is used too soon after a Chain 2 skill which defeats the monster, this will be used on the already-dead monster, but the player will backflip as if they had finished pummeling the enemy.
- Cooldown is still invoked when used on a dead monster.
- This can be avoided by using the skill after targeting another monster.
- Due to lag some targets may appear standing while Pummeling. This is a purely cosmetic bug.
- Depending on the location and its surroundings, the 'push-back' that Pummel does to the target may transport the target and the player to an unreachable area, both eventually returning to the original spot.
- This is a purely cosmetic bug. Neither the player nor the target are actually transported out of bounds.
- However, the Pummeled enemy may become unresponsive. To fix this, simply use Windmill at their last known position to force them back and fix their AI.
- This happens more often on Korsek Raptors and Snowfield Slayers when using Stomp and Frost Blade, respectively.
- If the target Teleports during the Pummel state, the target will go into a status where they may not attack nor move and nobody may attack them.
- Pummel may randomly end with only the first attack. This is due to displacement lag not reading the target's location properly.
- It is possible to jump over boundaries and Barrier Spikes, even if the initial strike hits past an obstacle.
- When pummeling an enemy with Self-Destruct, and it dies from the kick, it is possible that a delayed explosion will occur around the time pummel would normally end.
