To start the Side Story, open the Chapter Info menu, select the "Chapter 5 The Saga" tab, click the Watch button, and select "Side Story: NPC Commentary" under "Iria". You may not play other episodes while playing the Side Story. Replaying the Side Story does not cost any gold. You can not skip the cutscenes on your first playthrough of the Side Story.

Iria: Side Story: NPC Commentary is a commentary, question and answer cutscene revealing the origins of The Saga: Iria. Here, a Milletian interviews Ruairi, Millia, Tarlach, Shamala, Akule (and Lelach), Dowra, and Maike about their acting in the Saga.
