Underground Waterway (Sidequest)

• Underground Waterway is a story-oriented Sidequest that takes place around Generation 11.
• Completion of this sidequest will grant you the ability to host the Secret Shadow Mission, "Secret Experiment in the Underground Waterway".

Ferghus's Request

	Information
Instruction	Talk to Ferghus and he will give you Ferghus's Blacksmith Gloves (2 x 2) and the solo Shadow Mission, "Ferghus's Gift". You will receive the mission again upon leaving the Shadow Realm if you do not complete it. Start this mission at Taillteann stone henge. Talk to Leymore in the square. Talk to Jenna near the alchemist ovens and give her the gloves. Exit the mission. Jenna can repair items repairable at Blacksmiths for free despite showing the high prices. Her success rate is 80%. Complete the quest (35,000 EXP) and wait for the next one.

Socialite

	Name	Socialite	NPC	Eluned, Ailionoa
	Information
Instruction	Talk to Eluned at the Tara clothing store to receive Eluned Dress (2 x 3). Talk to Ailionoa in Emain Macha and she will take the dress. Complete the quest (15,000 EXP) and wait for the next one. The waiting time could take approximately one hour real-life time.

Party Dress Completion

Instruction	Talk to Ailionoa to receive the Repaired Eluned Dress (2 x 3). Talk to Eluned. She will take the dress and give you the solo Shadow Mission "Allestru's Etiquette Book". This mission has a 40 minute time limit. Talk to Eluned if you fail the mission. Start this mission at Tara stonehenge. Defeat the 9 Royal Castle Rats until a Shadow Realm Royal Library Key drops. If they do not drop a key, you must restart the mission. Once you have the Shadow Realm Royal Library Key, enter the Royal Library and talk to Buchanan to clear the mission. Complete the quest (15,000 EXP) and wait for the next one.

The Secret to Good Skin

Instruction	Talk to Eluned. Talk to Lileas. Deliver 5 Honeys to Lileas. Fresh Honey can be obtained from opening Honeycombs. Honeycombs can be obtained from hitting special trees in Corrib Valley or a Wild Honey production prop in homesteads. The trees in Corrib Valley have light green leaves, white flowers, and a beehive. Talk to Eluned. Complete the quest (35,000 EXP) and wait for the next one.

Memories from the Royal Castle Banquet

	Information
Instruction	Talk to Keith. Talk to Padan and a cutscene will occur. Complete the quest (10,000 EXP), relog or change channels, and wait for the next one.

Suspicious Rumor

	Name	Suspicious Rumor	NPC	Andras, Sinead
	Information
Instruction	Talk to Andras. Talk to Sinead and receive the solo Shadow Mission, "Royal Castle's Secret Experiment". There is no time limit. Talk to Sinead again if you lose the mission. Start this mission at Tara stone henge. A Royal Alchemist may assist you. You will fight two waves of monsters in the great hall, ten single waves of monsters in the next rooms, two waves in the dining room, two more rooms with single waves, and then you will see a cutscene and clear the mission when you enter the boss room. Talk to Sinead. Complete the quest and wait for the next one.

Truth about the Secret Experiment

Instruction	Talk to Sinead and receive the Tara solo Shadow Mission, "Cai's Support". This mission has no time limit. Fight your way through the castle. Eventually you will find a warp portal that will take you to highest room. Talk to Cai to complete the mission. Talk to Sinead to receive the Underground Waterway Pass (1 x 2) and the Tara solo Shadow Mission, "Defeat Claimh Solas". If Cai dies, the mission fails. Talk to Cai. Fight through rooms until you get to a room with a treasure chest where you will obtain a Secret Note (1 x 1). Click on the closet in the northernmost room and enter. Inside the closet room, type out the red message in the Secret Note's description out loud in All chat to make the secret staircase appear. Talk to Cai. Note that the underground waterway is a different map, and therefore, a "new" Cai will spawn, one with full health. Proceed along the waterway and fight through three more rooms and you will come across the boss room, where a cutscene plays as you enter. Afterward you will fight Claimh Solas. Unlike in Generation 9, it will be in its second form initially. You should do all preparations before entering the boss room. Claimh Solas has a very wide detection range and can detect you from the middle of the room while you are still standing at the door. If you prepare while Claimh Solas is active, it may just overwhelm you. The use of Spear of God is highly recommended to defeat the boss in the fastest way. In order to use this attack, you must have the Brionac and Awakening of Light. To prepare Spear of God, equip the Brionac, and then transform using Awakening of Light. The use of Demigod will allow access to the Brionac Interface, allowing the use of Spear of God via the Spear of Light icon. Finish Claimh Solas as quickly as possible, but be cautious. If Cai dies you fail the mission, so keep an eye on his health. Once you defeat Claimh Solas, you will get a cutscene and the mission will be cleared. Complete the quest. After completing this quest, you are able to host the Secret Shadow Mission, "Secret Experiment in the Underground Waterway".
