To start Episode 1, open the Chapter Info menu, select the "Chapter 5 The Saga" tab, click the Watch button, and select "EP 1 - Merlin" under "Iria II". You may not play other episodes while playing this episode. Replaying the episode costs 5,000 Gold. Warning: Choosing to stop the Episode at any point will erase all progress. You can not skip the cutscenes on your first playthrough of the Episode.

Iria II: Episode 1 - Merlin is the first episode of The Saga: Iria II. After the Culinary Artist finally appears and serves up a banquet, he has requests the Milletian and the Aces to help with a delivery to Dunbarton. However, this was not the only delivery to come up.

Instruction	Listen to Merlin's story. Merlin is located at the Druid's House. You will be asked to be taken into the Shadow Mission, "Merlin's Heroism". You will Role-play as Merlin. You will be instructed to perform the following skill combinations on a Giant Brown Bear. The bear will despawn and respawn every few seconds. After the first successful combo, the bear will despawn followed by a newly prompted dialogue. Afterwards a new combo and bear will be triggered. Charging Strike → Spinning Uppercut → Drop Kick Snap Cast → Fireball Listen to Professor J's story. Listen to Culinary Artist's story. You will be asked to be taken into the Shadow Mission, "Tales of a Culinary Artist". You will Role-play as a Bear and fight two waves of monsters. Red Fox x5 → Black Wolf x3 The monsters are unable to be targeted using CTRL Complete the quest. [10,000 EXP; 6,000 Gold]

Bad Timing

Instruction	Pick up the goods from the Culinary Artist. You will receive Culinary Artist's Errand Pack. Talk to Starlet at the Druid's House. A cutscene will play and you will be teleported to the northwest of Lake Neagh. Talk to Young Tarlach near Lake Neagh. A cutscene will play and you will be teleported to the Bard Camp. Talk to Yvona. Enter the tent. You will be prompted Enter Now and Enter Later. You must click on the tent, similar to initiating a conversation. A cutscene will play upon selecting Enter Now. You will then enter the Shadow Mission, "A Friend in Neid". You will fight an Enslaved Neid. After hitting it 30 times, a cutscene will play. Attacking the Enslaved Neid from the side will make the fight much easier. The mission is fixed on Basic. Rewards: 30,000 EXP, 1000G Talk to Merlin at the Bard Camp. Deliver the goods to Glenis in Dunbarton. Complete the quest. [30,000 EXP, 1000G]

Hide-And-Seek

Instruction	Chat with Merlin in Dunbarton. Find Tarlach in Dunbarton. Tarlach is located next to Kristell. A cutscene will play once you talk to him. Talk to Kristell in Dunbarton. You will receive Kristell's Package. Deliver the goods to Ascon in Port Cobh. Complete the quest. [8000 EXP, 1000G]

Emergency One-Day Volunteer Group

Instruction	Talk to Professor J at Emain Macha Town Square. Talk to James. Talk to the Emain Macha Farmer. He is located in the Corn fields, directly west of the Trading Post. You will receive a Sickle. Deliver 10 ears of Corn to the Emain Macha Farmer. A cutscene will play. After completing the objective, the Sickle will remain in your inventory. Talk to Aodhan. Collect Trash. You are required to bring 3 Discarded Bottles, 3 Food Scraps, 3 Bags of Trash, 3 Waste Paper, and 3 Worn-out Clothes by hitting trash cans and deliver the trash to Aodhan. Any extra trash in your inventory will be taken by Aodhan. Worn-out Clothes is common in the east of Emain Macha. Similarly, Waste Paper is common in the west of Emain Macha. Talk to Professor J at Emain Macha Town Square. A cutscene will play and you will be teleported to the Stage. Talk to James. A cutscene will play. Complete the quest. [30,000 EXP, 1,000G]

Emain Macha Recital

Instruction	Perform with Professor J and Merlin. Talk to Professor J and a cutscene will play. You will be taken to the Shadow Mission, "Passionate Recital". You will role-play as yourself with a Mandolin. Talk to Merlin and a cutscene will play. Upon finishing the cutscene, you will be transported out of the mission. Complete the quest. [15,000 EXP; 46500G; AP 20 Potion] Replaying this episode does not reward another AP Potion.
