To start Episode 9, open the Chapter Info menu, select the "Chapter 5 The Saga" tab, click the Watch button, and select "EP 9 - Fate's Design: The Stand" under "Iria". You may not play other episodes while playing Episode 9. Replaying Episode 9 costs 5,000 Gold. Warning: Choosing to stop the Episode at any point will erase all progress. You can not skip the cutscenes on your first playthrough of the Episode.

Iria: Episode 9 - Fate's Design: The Stand is the ninth episode of The Saga: Iria. With the combined forces of the Humans, Elves, and Giants led by Odran, Maike, and Dowra respectively, a plan to save Millia from Ruairi and Tarlach's evil clutches is devised.

The Shadow Mission difficulty is based on your total level:

Beginner for 1~99 total
Intermediate for 100~299 total
Advanced for 300~999 total
Hard for 1000+ total

A Council of War

	Information	To start the episode, open the Saga menu, select the "Iria" tab, select "EP 9 - Fate's Design: The Stand", and watch the Episode 9 cinematic.
Instruction	Talk to either Odran, Akule, Dowra, or Maike located south of Pera Volcano in Zardine. You will be taken into the RP Shadow Mission, "Shamala Escapes" after completing the previous step. You will Role-play as Shamala. Head to the exit of Renes. A cutscene will occur, ending the mission. It is not necessary to engage the Unknown Men, though they will instantly aggro once you go near them. The mission can be made easier by teleporting to the Unknown Men via Final Hit. The Black Dragon Knight is present in this mission. He is invincible to all damage, can summon two Illusions of himself, and deal massive damage, so avoid him at all costs. Talk to either Odran, Akule, Dowra, or Maike. A cutscene will occur. Talk to Odran, Akule, Dowra, Maike, or Shamala. Another cutscene will occur. Complete the quest. [8,000 EXP]

Decoy Operation

Instruction	Talk to either Odran, Akule, Dowra, Maike, or Shamala located south of Pera Volcano. You will be taken into the RP Shadow Mission, "Wagon Escort Operation" after completing the previous step. You will Role-play as Odran. Follow the five Taillteann Expeditionary Force Supply Wagons that are being transported. Enemies: Demonic Headless × 1 + Demonic Ghoul × 4 → Demonic Argus × 2 + Demonic Poet × 4 + Demonic Warrior × 4 → Demonic Headless × 3 + Demonic Argus × 3 + Demonic Archer × 2 + Demonic Lesser Lich × 2 The enemies will not attack the Supply Wagons. The White Dragon will appear in the final wave. The mission will end when third wave has been partially defeated. Four Human Guardmens will spawn and assist you during each wave. Unlike previous missions in previous episodes, the NPCs have very low defense and can die easily. Talk to either Odran, Akule, Dowra, Maike, or Shamala. You will be taken into the RP Shadow Mission, "Maike's Siege Warfare" after completing the previous step. You will Role-play as Maike. Enemies: Bandit Goblin × 3 + Bandit Goblin Archer × 3 + Bandit Imp × 3 → Bandit Goblin × 3 + Bandit Goblin Archer × 3 + Bandit Imp × 3 → Bandit Goblin × 3 + Bandit Goblin Archer × 3 + Bandit Imp × 3 → Bandit Goblin × 3 + Bandit Goblin Archer × 3 + Bandit Imp × 3 + Cessair × 1 Three Royal Guards and two Elf Guards will assist in the fight. Unlike previous missions in previous episodes, the NPCs have very low defense and can die easily. The mission will end when third wave is partially defeated. Talk to either Odran, Akule, Dowra, Maike, or Shamala. You will be taken into the RP Shadow Mission, "Conquer the Mana Tunnel" after completing the previous step. You will Role-play as Dowra. Enemies: Demonic Headless × 2 + Bandit Goblin Archer × 2 + Cessair × 2 → Demonic Ghouls × 3 + Bandit Imps × 3 + Cessair × 3 + → Demonic Poets × 4 + Demonic Warriors × 4 + Bandit Goblins × 4 + Cessair → Cessair × 5 + Tarlach × 1 Tarlach in the last wave is immune to all damage. See his page for more information. Three Spies and two Giant Guards will assist you in the fight. Unlike previous missions in previous episodes, the NPCs have very low defense and can die easily. Berserk should only be used as a last resort option, as you will lose all of your defense and protection. Because of the large amount of mobs, it is suggested to switch to Bare Hands, which has 66~105 Damage, and repeatedly use Windmill. The mission will end when the fourth wave is partially defeated. Complete the quest. A cutscene will occur. [8,000 EXP]

Revelations

Instruction	Talk to either Akule, Odran, Dowra, Maike, or Shamala located south of Pera Volcano. A cutscene will occur, and you will be taken into the Shadow Mission, "Fight Against Ruairi" after completing the previous step. Enemies: Giant Headless × 2 + Demonic Ghoul × 4 → Demonic Headless × 2 + Demonic Ghoul × 2 + Cessair × 2 → Cessair × 2 + Demonic Poets × 2 + Black Dragon Knight × 1 The Cessair have complete stun immunity and will also use Final Hit as well as Assault Slash. They have an extremely large aggro radius, multi aggro, deal high damage, and will pursue you a great distance, so proceed with caution. They have Natural Shield. After being struck with a ranged skill, they are capable of using Evasion. Due to their stun immunity, using melee attacks is not recommended as they will immediately intercept it. Additionally, using pets with a stun on-summon attack, such as the Thunder Dragon's Thunder Storm and the Nimbus's Restful Wind, have no effect. However, pets with a knockdown on-summon attack, such as Fire Dragon's Fire Storm, can help take off the heat, though they will immediately get back up and attack. The Black Dragon Knight can deal massive damage, has Mana Deflector Level 2, and will follow you a far distance. He can also summon an Illusion of himself that has the same abilities as him, but with less HP and roughly 10 times less damage. You can make the fight easier by luring the Illusion far away and circling back on a mounted pet. Complete the quest. [100,000 EXP, Complete Saga Box, Saga EP9 Box] Replaying Episode 9 does not reward a Complete Saga Box. You may only obtain up to 1 Saga EP Box a day for all episodes. However, you will always receive a box for the first time finishing the episode. The Daily Bonus is applied on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This resets at EDT: 10:00am UTC: 2:00pm AEDT: 1:00am 7:00am PDT100.
