Description

Lance Impact strikes an enemy with a heavy blow, the force of which either knocks the foe back, or pushes the lancer away from them. Skilled lancers saw the need for a strong attack to supplement their Lance Charges, developing Lance Impact to take advantage of the lance's length and heft to simultaneously attack and open distance between themselves and their opponent. This allows a combatant to better avoid lances' limitations at close range.

Details

• The user deals heavy damage compared to a normal lance attack, knocking either back the opponent or the user.
• Once Lance Impact is used, it benefits the user the bonus of Lance Charge as if the user was mounted.
• Lance Impact may hit more than one target especially any in its line-of-sight, in a straight line, behind the player's chosen target.
• This attack can miss if the target moves out of the lance's range.
• It shares many properties of Lance Charge.
  • Counterattack, Lance Counter, and Combo: Counter Punch are ignored by Lance Impact.
  • It can intercept Smash.
