Description

A technique in which one leaps in to strike enemies with a weapon wreathed in flame, then bounds out of harm's way just as quickly through the use of the force generated by the explosion. Being aware of where one wishes to end up is crucial to the effective use of this skill. Developed as an outgrowth of the Assault Slash skill, it is influenced by the user's Assault Slash damage and range, and deals more damage if Instill Flame is active.

• Requires a Sword (excluding Rapiers), Blunt Weapon, or Axe equipped in order to use.
• The user targets a mob, and leaps into the air, their weapon glowing with red flames. The user then lands on the target creating an explosion, and is able to rebound anywhere within a circle the same size as the max cast distance of the skill.
  • Once the skill has been activated, a circle will appear on the ground. While midair, it is possible to select a location within that circle to rebound to after exploding on the target.
    • Clicking directly onto a targetable mob is not regarded as a valid location.
    • once a rebound destination has been selected, clicking elseware will have no affect.
  • During the skill's animation, there is a brief window of invulnerability.
    • It is possible to utilize the rebound to dodge enemies that explode upon death, or avoid negative effects of landing in that location
• The User's Assault slash damage is used to calculate the final damage.
  • Some effects that increase the multiplier of Assault Slash will increase the damage of Blazing Assault Slash.
  • Such effects include Assault Slash Damage Reforge, Red Echostone, and Set Bonuses as well as the Assault Slash Glyph.
  • Assault Slash Combo Card effects does not trigger when using Blazing Assault Slash.

      • (Blazing Assault Slash % + (Assault Slash Damage % + Assault Slash Damage Reforge)
* Assault Slash Set Bonuses + Instill Flame Skill Damage %).
• The user's Assault Slash Range is used in the calculation of the castable range.
  • Effects that increase the distance of Assault Slash also increase the castable range of Blazing Assault Slash.
    • Blazing Assault Slash adds additional range beyond the calculation for Assault Slash.
• This skill will inflict increased damage if Instill Flame is currently active.
