Description

Flash Launcher.png
This skill first launches the enemy with a kick, then pounds the full force of a Mana Bullet into the target. The shockwave does considerable damage.
Consumes [4] Mana Bullets

Details

  • Requires Dual Guns to use.
  • Kicks the enemy away then fires a massive single blow, knocking them back while recoiling backward; essentially a mixture of Smash and Heat Buster.
    • The kick itself does no damage.
  • Consumes 4 bullets in the chamber.
    • If used without bullets in the magazine, the message "Not enough Mana Bullets." will appear and Reload will execute automatically.
  • Similar to Smash, Flash Launcher ignores and cancels the Defense skill, but not the Defense or Protection stats.
    • However, unlike Smash, Flash Launcher ignores Protection for calculating Critical Hit.
  • Similar to Smash, Normal Attack, Counterattack, Lance Counter, Combo: Counter Punch, Windmill, Charge, and Lance Charge can intercept Flash Launcher.
  • You may not load other skills in the middle of Flash Launcher's animation.
  • Can be executed immediately after using Grapple Shot, but unlike Bullet Slide, you must manually click the enemy once more.
    • Having the "Use Skill after Targeting" option enabled alleviates this.
  • Assault Slash may be executed after Flash Launcher, but the player may have to move forward a bit after executing Flash Launcher due to the distance of knockback.
  • Should the user be attacked before the animation ends, the cooldown will not take place.
    • However, if interrupted by Counterattack, Lance Counter, or Combo: Counter Punch, this skill will be put into cooldown.
  • The player is still vulnerable to attack during the skill's animation. However, the skill itself cannot be interrupted; it is always guaranteed to hit the opponent.
  • Flash Launcher cannot be used in Rafting.
  • Unlike other Dual Gun skills, Flash Launcher is considered a melee hit and will trigger Melee Auto Defense.
    • This allows the player to deal damage with guns against enemies which are immune to ranged attacks, such as zombies.

Skill Issues

  • Flash Launcher may cause displacement lag for the user, as well as anyone around the user.
    • In addition, it may seem like the user did not move from their current position at all or suddenly jet backward into their landing position.
    • This bug is similar to the Smash bug.

  • Proceed with the [Dual Gun Basics] quest. You can start the [Dual Gun Basics] quest when you have [Dual Guns] equipped.
  • Intro Gun Training is the actual name of the quest.
