Chain of Destruction

The Chain of Destruction is a Sidequest story that takes place sometime after Generation 20: The Gate of Sanctuary but before the events of Generation 24: Ascension. It also serves as the tutorial questline for the Chain Slash talent.
Equip a Chain Blade weapon or rebirth a character in the Chain Slash talent to start this questline.

New characters must complete the Lorna and Pan's Fresh Start Tutorial [Guide] quests found in the Basic quest tab. Once all tutorial quests have been completed, the quest will be available on that character.

Depending on your choices through the story, you will be awarded with one of the following titles:

Bearer of Bachram
Sluagh Incarnate
the Poker-Faced
- They all give the same stats: Luck +35, Dex +20, Critical +5

The Bearer of Bachram title usually involves being truthful and honest, while the Sluagh incarnate involves deception and lies. Having a tie between the two will result in obtaining the Poker-Faced title.

Instruction	Talk to the Bespectacled Boy You will be prompted with two choices: Poke Him!, and Stare, Mouth Agape. You will be given a new Engraved Runestone. Investigate the Runestone in Alby Dungeon Upon dropping the Engraved Runestone, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "The Lifelong Memories". You will role-play as the Mysterious Woman. Defeat the monsters inside to complete the mission and watch a cutscene. Talk to the Bespectacled Boy Upon exiting Alby Dungeon, you will view a cutscene. Talk to Duncan You will be prompted with two choices: You gave it to the owner., and You did not find the owner, but... You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest as well as rank F of the Chain Blade Mastery and Dorcha Snatch skills.

Instruction	Talk to Duncan. Talk to Merlin near Tir Chonaill Farmland Talk to Starlet You will be prompted with two choices: What do you mean?, and What? You can grow the Sluagh?. After the conversation, you will receive an Old Tassel. Investigate the old tassel in Alby Dungeon Upon dropping the Old Tassel, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "Whispering Voice". You will role-play as the Posessed Eiren. Defeat Starlet, Merlin, and Professor J. Talk to Merlin You will be prompted with two choices: The voice of Eiren echoes throughout your mind., and The Sluagh voice sounds like it is everywhere at once.. You will be prompted with three choices afterwards: Tuairnan, Bachram, and Tuairen. After the conversation, you will receive a Wings of the Blue Goddess (Peaca Dungeon Entrance). You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest.

Go to the dark, sealed place in Peaca Dungeon Upon dropping the Mystic Pass, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "Her Safe Haven". You will role-play as yourself. Walk up to the crystal and touch it twice and begin training with Eiren on using the Chain Blade. During the role-play, you will be prompted with two choices: Not really. and I wish!. Talk to Merlin. You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest, the practice rank of Dorcha Mastery and rank F Chain Impale.

Go to the dark, sealed place in Peaca Dungeon Upon dropping the Mystic Pass, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "Sealed Hero". You will role-play as yourself. Speak with Merlin then walk up to the crystal and touch it. During the role-play, you will be prompted with two choices: I am ready. and Not yet.... Replying with I am ready. will begin your training with the Chain Blade. After the training, you will be prompted with two choices: Nod your head. and Ask where to learn Dorcha Conversion. You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest and rank F of Chain Crush and the practice rank of Dorcha Conversion. You will also receive the quest [Dorcha Conversion] Artifacts of Bean Rua upon exiting the mission.

Talk to Starlet Talk to Aeira in the Dunbarton Bookstore You will receive Eiren's Journal after talking to Aeira. Read the journal. After a cutscene, you will be awarded 5,000 EXP for completing the quest.

Go to the dark, sealed place in Peaca Dungeon Upon dropping the Mystic Pass, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "My Body is a Cage". You will role-play as yourself. Walk up to the crystal and touch it twice. During the role-play, you will be prompted with two choices: I am ready. and Not yet.... Replying with I am ready. will begin your training with the Chain Blade. After the training, you will be prompted with two choices: Frown. and Ask where to learn Spinning Slasher. You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest and rank F of Anchor Rush and the practice rank of Spinning Slasher.

Talk to the Bespectacled Boy You will be prompted with two choices: To make a new Runestone for a friend!, and Oh, no reason in particular.. Deliver 1 Holy Water to the Bespectacled Boy You receive a Pure Mana Stone and a Wings of the Blue Goddess (Peaca Dungeon Entrance). Deliver a purified Mana Stone to Merlin You will receive Merlin's Runestone. You will be awarded 5,000 EXP for completing the quest.

Instruction	Talk to Merlin You will be prompted with two choices: How could there be anything but good results?, and It is not as easy as you think. You will receive a Mystic Pass after the conversation. Go to the dark, sealed place in Peaca Dungeon Upon dropping the Mystic Pass, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "Waltzing with Hope". You will role-play as yourself. Talk to Starlet then walk up to the crystal and touch it. During the role-play, you will be prompted with two choices: I am ready. and Not yet.... Replying with I am ready. will begin your training with the Chain Blade. During the training, you will be prompted with two choices: I understand. and Where can I learn Death Mark?. After the training, speak to Starlet to be prompted with two choices: Calm Starlet down and ... Talk to Starlet You will be prompted with two choices: She will not fall asleep again, will she?, and If it truly is Eiren, she will do well. You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest and rank F of Chain Sweep practice rank of Death Mark. You will also receive the quest [Death Mark] Death Becomes Her upon exiting the mission.

Instruction	Talk to Starlet near Tir Chonaill Farmland You will be prompted with three choices: A delicious lunch?, A delicious lunch??, and A delicious lunch??? Talk to the Culinary Artist Deliver 5 Eggs to the Culinary Artist. You can find Hens by the Church in Tir Chonaill. Deliver Large Meat to the Culinary Artist. Just one is fine! You may purchase a Large Meat and the Chocolate, for the next step, from Caitin in the Grocery Store. Deliver 1 Chocolate to the Culinary Artist. Talk to the Culinary Artist A cutscene will occur. Talk to Starlet. You will be awarded 5,000 EXP for completing the quest.

[Chain Slash] The Moon's Shadow

Instruction	Talk to Aeira in the Dunbarton Bookstore You will receive a Wings of the Blue Goddess (Peaca Dungeon Entrance) upon finishing the conversation. Talk to Merlin near the Peaca Dungeon Moon Gate You will be prompted with two choices: I will go now., and I need some time to prepare. Upon replying with I will go now., you will receive a Mystic Pass. Go to the dark, sealed place in Peaca Dungeon Upon dropping the Mystic Pass, you will enter the Shadow Mission, "Broken Seal, Awakened Sluagh". You will role-play as yourself. Defeat Possessed Eiren. Merlin, Starlet, and Professor J will assist you. Defeat the Doppelganger. The NPCs will not assist you, but you will have permanent Bachram Boost in this fight. You will be awarded 15,000 EXP for completing the quest and rank F of Dorcha Mastery.

[Chain Slash] Rays of Sun

Instruction	Talk to Eiren You will be prompted with four choices: Keep still and smile, Pull your hand away, flustered, Make a straight face, and Slowly interlock your hands. Bid farewell Speak to any of the Aces to complete this step. Upon completing this step, the quest will automatically complete itself. Based on your choices throughout the questline, you will also receive a title. You will be awarded 5,000 EXP for completing the quest. You will also be awarded the Whispering Enchant Scroll, Crescent Moon Enchant Scroll and Chain Slash Collection Book. You will also receive the quest [Spinning Slasher] A Vortex of Emotion - Part 1 - upon completing the quest.

How to Get Quest	Reach Rank 1 of Chain Blade Mastery and Dorcha Mastery, Rank 3 of Chain Sweep, and Rank 5 of Spinning Slasher. If you unlocked them with Blaanid's help, there is a chance you cannot get past the first objective due to quest interference. To avoid this, you can choose to complete all quests for Chain Slash Skills, or simply forfeit the interfering quest (such as [Spinning Slasher] A Vortex of Emotion - Part 2 - ) to get pass the first objective.

Objectives	Talk to Eiren in the Belvast Garden Read Bachram's Potential after collecting all 4 pages Collect Bachram's Potential Page 1, Bachram's Potential Page 2, Bachram's Potential Page 3, and Bachram's Potential Page 4 from Baltane Missions then right-click and use any of them to compile the book. Page 1 drops from the Giant Peridot Crystal enemies in Avalon Bridge or the end chest in Counterattack. Page 2 drops from the Giant Peridot Crystal Bear in Nowhere to Run. Page 3 drops from the Reanimated Corpses and the Giant Peridot Crystal Bear in Knights of the Round Table or the end chest in Siege Weapon. Page 4 drops from the Giant Peridot Crystal enemies in Gatekeeper or the end chest in Siege Weapon. Defeat 20 Desert Ghosts Defeat 20 Ghosts Wandering Prison Ghosts outside Metus count for this objective. Talk to Corentin when you are just barely clinging to life. Deadly status can be reached by touching the Sword of Elsinore in Avon, using Magic or Alchemy after Respite, repeatedly using Dorcha Conversion, or receiving heavy damage in a single attack while at full health in a duel. Sketch of Peaca Basic Dungeon Banshee You must sketch the Banshee while this quest is active. Receiving the sketch from another player or using a previously acquired sketch will not complete the step. Talk to Corentin in the Tara Pontiff's Court.

Dorcha Conversion

Briefing	Scattered throughout Bean Rua are the possessions left behind by Fomors who fled during the Emain Macha tragedy. It could be worth looking around to see if any of these items could amplify the strength of your Dorcha.
Objectives	Reach rank A of the Chain Crush skill Talk to Rua in Emain Macha. To fulfill this quest requirement you must talk to her with the Skills keyword while having a chainblade equipped. Talk to Kousai of Cor Village. Defeat 30 Carnivorous Plants. Talk to Kousai of Cor Village. Deliver the Cor Village Medicine to Rua Use the Fomor's Runestone
Rewards	50,000 Experience Points Achieve rank F of Dorcha Conversion.
Additional Information	Reach rank A of the Chain Crush skill, then keep the Chain Blade equipped and go find Rua of Bean Rua. Ask her about Skills to see what's what.

Additional Information	Let's train with the Chain Blade using Shuan's techniques. Previously required you to gift Kaour, Dai and Eirlys one uniform box each, specifically in order, to obtain 3 different text books. This is now changed to a single Baltane Textbook, and you may gift any one of the 6 squires. You are still required to perform the "gifting" on the squire's birthday.

Complete both parts of the [A Vortex of Emotion] quest, obtained during the Chain Slash Talent's scenario quest [The Corrupted Memories].

Use the Third Dorcha Crystal This crystal can be fished from Port Cobh or as a possible reward from Secret of Scathach Caverns, or Abb Neagh Convoy Escort. Use the Fourth Dorcha Crystal This crystal can be purchased from Fleta for 50,000G in her Etc. tab.
