Description

Charging Strike.png Stage 1 chain skill. Instantly closes on your opponent and delivers a quick blow. The key to victory is striking faster than the eye can see.

Details

  • Requires Knuckles to use.
  • Stage 1 Chain that rushes to the enemy to deliver a punch.
  • Can be used while stunned, however the player will not be able to attack after the skill until the stun would end.
  • User is invulnerable to attack during the animation.
    • Monsters will fail to target the player with any skills, however.
  • Will always intercept an enemy's Normal Attack or Smash.
  • Ignores Protection when calculating Critical Hit Chance.
  • Can attack enemies through Barrier Spikes.
  • Can be Defended and Counterattacked, as well as Windmill-Countered.
    • If the attack is blocked by one of the above skills, Stage 2 chains will not be activated.
  • The stun from this skill is much longer than that of a basic attack.
  • Can be used during Windmill's animation.

Skill Issues

  • This skill may cause displacement lag for the user, as well as anyone around the user.
    • In addition, it may seem like the user did not move from their current position at all or suddenly jet forward into the enemy's position.
  • When Elves use Charging Strike to initiate a chain, it will start as normal. However, pressing the key for the next skill in the chain may not trigger immediately.
    • Elves may have to hit the target normally once, then proceed with the chain.
    • The Chain may cancel altogether. The cause of this is unknown.
  • Charging Strike can strike enemies behind Barrier Spikes or certain map boundaries, although you can not pass the obstacle.
  • Using Charging Strike while coming under attack can some times cause the user to not be able to attack or perform any actions at all. This can be fixed by taking a bit of damage, or mounting and dismounting.
