- Good deeds? It's just doing your part-time job really well, and doing it on time, so no one gets worried when the deadline comes. Poor people? Shheshh. Why help out people that can help themselves with their two hands and two feet. Tell them I need help here.

- Poor people? Hmmm, since I work at the Bank, I don't think I have encountered poor people here.
Every once in a while, I'd feel sorry for those that weren't able to get their items from their account, but... that doesn't mean I can break rules for them. If they take care of their finances from the beginning, then they wouldn't have to go through that, right? Haha.

- Helping out the poor can be tricky, if you don't think long and hard about how to help the ones in need.
There's a saying that for the sake of the kid, do not catch the fish for them, but teach them how to fish themselves. Think about the reason why that saying was created in the first place.

- In the name of Lymilark, if you live the life the way she taught you, by loving others while forgiving their mistakes, that you'll live the life of goodness, without having to actually do good deeds.
I believe true good deeds aren't isolated incidents, but a lifestyle that you always follow through, not worrying about it one bit.

- Are you saying helping out the poor is a good deed?
Well, it isn't necessarily wrong. But please think about this. Don't you think being "Poor" is already a term of segregation? Just because one person feels the gap in monetary possessions, the person doesn't have to feel like a failure... I mean, if you really want to help them out, instead of plotting ways to help them financially, you'll have to help them grow out of the poor man's mentality. They shouldn't feel like they're poor just because they don't have as much money as others.

- Even if it's a good deed, it's hard to pinpoint what exactly a good deed is. How about asking others about it first?
If the first person that recommended you to do it has something to offer, then I suggest you take care of that first. You wish to help out the poor? That's not bad either, although that'll be hard to do here in this town.

Yes, then as your travel diary says, would you head over to Emain Macha? The story in that book takes place in Emain Macha, too. I have a feeling places like that have the rich that are richer, and also the poor being poorer than ever.

- Helping a poor person... I'm not really sure. Why don't you try giving some money to the beggar at the Town Square?

- I think helping someone is a great idea... but I think poverty is something that needs to solved fundamentally first.
Poverty is caused by a person's skill or position, even one's environment and education. Giving money to a person could be a temporary solution but if it doesn't help the person permanently get out of poverty, I don't think it makes a significant difference.

Hmm... There's probably a variety of ways to do that. You can volunteer at the church, or make donations on your own... But, I think you need to think a little more about helping people up front. It's not healthy for the person who is being helped to get overly dependent on the one that is helping. If you really help someone, you should anonymously support them from a distance.

Sharing your wealth with those who are poor, is something that is encouraged by Lymilark as well. The Lord says the heavier your pockets, the heavier your sins will be as well, so if you share what's in your pocket with others your sins will lessen as well. Don't forget that and always make a habit of sharing your wealth with hose who are less fortunate.
