You can't compose with only the melody that pops into your head. The critical part is to put all your musical ideas onto a sheet of paper.
I remember seeing a book explaining how to do that somewhere.
Oh right, It's Malcom's General Shop. Go to the General Shop and find the book titled "Introduction to Composing Tunes'written by Baird.
The book is an excellent guide on what you need to know. It would help immensely if you wish to exhibit your creativity and compose music.

- I don't see a lot of people who[sic] in this town who seem to take an interest in musical composition. I remember seeing Briana when I used to visit the Royal Castle--there's someone who loves writing music.
Sometimes, I'd go to buy music scores for the violin, and every single song I came across that was written by Briana was a masterpiece. You really have to play the détachés and staccatos correctly, so practicing those pieces challenges you to play more efficiently.
I have so much respect for people who can compose beautiful melodies. Every time I play, I try to appreciate and focus on every note.

- I didn't compose all of my own music but it's not as if I didn't make an effort. I'd always thought of my music as a transparent embodiment of my spirit so I would try to write as many musical works as possible.
Critics interpreted my insistence on using 3 chords as my compositional style that was full of restraint and purity.
I can tell you this now, because so much time as passed since then but honestly... the reason I'd always insisted on writing songs with just those 3 chords was... because those were the only 3 chords I knew how to play. Haha.
